Rebuild mode - Jimmy Graham Trade

So the team in my signature is 3-7 ranked 10th in the league in a 16 team league.

I have some pieces to work with already in Wilson and E Elliott (who I traded up to in the draft last year to get)

I recently decided I wasn't going to win it this year or next year unless I under went a mini rebuild. So I traded Julio for Fuller, Moncrief and 1st in 2017 and 2018.

I am trying to trade Graham also before his value tanks completely.

I was offered and rejected the following with the comments

I get J Charles and 2017 1st (6th)

I give E Elliott and Graham


"It was a fair and balanced trade. in fact fantasy sharks trade analyzer showed you gained an advantage by over 9%. Think about it, you aren't going to move Graham, he's 30 years old.
You currently have 2 first round picks, my 6th round would be the highest you have. you have an opportunity to get the cream of the crop in the 17 draft. No I don't want Graham but I don't want to give up my 1st either. The firsts was for Elliott and Charles was for Graham. Fair balanced and all i'm going to offer, ever."

Am I missing something?? or is that the best offer for Graham I am going to get and what should I be expecting to get for Graham

If Elliott is Zeke then the Trade analyzer you are using make no sense, sorry.
Zeke by him self is worth 2x JC plus 1.06.

On the Graham value.
I would try to sell for a late first, but not sure it is possible.
Alternative use him to move up in the draft - getting another teams first, giving your own second.

Jamaal Charles and 6th overall for Zeke and Graham?? That's not close at all. Zeke is worth a butt load right now, basically priceless because nobody is going to pay what he's worth. His worth in picks should be like 4 firsts (16 man leagues are different so don't quote me on this)

As for selling Graham, it's going to be tough to get what he's really worth. Find the teams that are weak at TE and just try to get a decent first round pick or a young high upside player. He has some value since he's been playing well, but age is slowly creeping up on him.

Tell him where to go and keep Zeke. If hes such a fan of calculators run it through dynasty trade calculator and send it to him, im sure itll be massively unbalanced in his favour

In fact, i just ran it and this was the analysis:

You give: 44 value, you get 24 value.

This trade would be the plot line of 'The Big Short

piling on that's a horrible offer. If you're trying to flip Jimmy for future assets I would think a late 1st/early 2nd. If I were a contender I would consider that straight up for Jimmy. Or if no one wants to part with a pick find a young upside player.

I don't know if this is the case but I hate when you're talking trades and people go from discussing some role player, middle tier assets and then suddenly add in a guy like Zeke to the conversation.

Also the essay of explanations he sent you with the trade should tell you he knows hes lowballing.

I'd simply find a contender that is weak at te, look to add a late first. Sell them on the fact adding Jimmy can help them win a championship vs a late first gamble.

Any mention of a trade analyzer in an offer should be a clue that it is an automatic reject. IMO, any web site that even has one available makes their credibility suspect.
