AJ/Gurley vs DJ/Reed/1st

AJ owner is selling him off, and he really wants D Johnson and or Reed.

Am I way off in thinking that they are relatively close in value? I am currently in 3rd, within striking distance of 1st.

Get - AJ, Gurley, Witten, 3rd
Give - Reed, DJ, 1st, Bosa

AJG/Gurley here by a landslide.

I personally prefer both AJG and Gurley to DJ, although in the short-term I could understand someone taking DJ. The rest doesn't add up though

Here's how I see this trade:

AJ + Gurley
Reed + DJ + 1st + Bosa

He's just throwing some crap in there to make it seem like it's an even trade, but it's not even close. I like the idea of you getting AJ and Gurley for DJ, but DJ is hot right now and Gurley is not, use that to your advantage. DJ and a first for AJ and Gurley is closer than the offer he sent, imo at least. I doubt he would take that though, but I would send it anyways just to see. Let him know he isn't gonna pull a fast one on you.

Also, unloading Reed is probably the best move as his career could be over with the next concussion, at some point somethings got to give. I'm not a big IDP person, but I could imagine Bosa is worth a ton, so I don't think you should really add that much to this.

The timing is why I feel this way. DJ is expensive right now and Gurley is cheap (assuming the owner is down on them). So try to get maximum value out of the situation. I wouldn't be selling DJ in the middle of a great season unless I'm getting a pretty penny for him. Just my opinion though

For the OP I'd take the AJG side of the deal pretty easily.
