Treadwell+++ for k Allen

Traded my treadwell, McCoy, 2017 3rd and 2018 2nd for k Allen

What's everyone's thoughts ? Clearly looking to rebuild / not a fan or tread took him 1.5 best available.

Love KA, might just be my favorite NFL player of today and he's been on my teams since he entered the league, own him in both fantasy teams. To be perfectly honest I think you overpaid when you total everything you gave up. I would have held onto Treadwell if you're looking to rebuild, seems like the perfect young WR piece to draft and build around fresh. Keenan is also a very good young WR to build around, by all means. But having them both would have been an even better nucleus of players going forward.

The other pieces you gave up I'm not too upset over for you. Shady is still a very serviceable low end RB1, but with the tread on his tires and Karlos behind him, nothing to lose sleep over. 2017 3rd is a crapshoot, and 2018 2nd is one as well.

I would make that trade at the end of the day. Its not a game of having a ton of middling guys its finding the most statistically dominant 5-6 skill players you can cobble together for a starting lineup. KA is better in one lineup slot than any of those guys. Fyi 2nd and 3rd round rookie picks rarely turn up anything and are easily ejected for me though..

Yeah I just don't think treadwell will be that great tbh. Keenan's young and proven and with McCoy ofseason drama on top of his dodge hammys i would rather pass. The picks to me were just an add onto get it done. The league I'm in you pay overs for everything, personally I don't think I paid that much overs but I guess we will know once the season kicks off.

I think you overpaid. Treadwell at 1.05 was a steal. But since you were not a fan of Treadwell I think it was a good trade for you. You didn't give up anything to significant and got a great young stud WR in Keenen.

Overpay but sometimes you have to do that to get guys you want. Not too bad of an overpay either considering McCoy's news and 2017 3rd being random.

I dont think there is any logical way to justify this, but we are all entitled to our opinions.

I think OP gave up a bit too much, but thats what you have to do to get your guys

Allen has been moving around my leagues for about 3 1sts in value. With Treadwell and McCoy being worth a 1st each (and McCoy depreciating), I think the value is fine. Even if Allen is valued low at 2 1sts, those picks are cheap to get the guy you want. I like the trade.

Short term win but by 2017 I expect the extra pieces to go the other way to try to buy Treadwell.

As an Allen owner and lover (mentally not physically), I think you over paid. That doesn't mean it won't make your team better.

I think it's an overpay for a guy with one half of a productive year. Why not build around someone who is a lot cheaper, but a lot safer like AJG? I know that's not a sexy move, but you could have probably given up a lot less to get him.

Great deal for you. Little thin at positions now but k Allen is a stud
