1.01 Almost OTC! Please Help!

Guys and Gals, I request your assistance. My 2016 rookie picks are as follows:

Obviously 1.01 is a slam dunk w/ Elliott. To no surprise, I have been getting decent offers for the pick. I'm pretty sure the consensus is that after Zeke hit DAL, no one is really in love with where any of the other guys we should take in the 1st round landed. At least that's how I view it. My team has been rebuilding for 4 long seasons already, and I really want to pull out of it this year. I know, 4 years is a looong rebuild. I agree. Something to keep in mind while helping me out, is that sensible trades are next to impossible in this league. So, I have only been able to rebuild through the draft really, and I've air-balled a couple of the drafts. Here's my depth chart:
Wilson, Flacco, Fitzpatrick, Petty
Anderson, Hyde, J. White, Hightower, Dunbar, Ware, J. Robinson, Draughn, M. Davis
Cooper, Watkins, G. Tate, Perriman, M. Bryant, Crowder, J.J. Nelson, Beasley, K. Bell

The sitch:
I have been offered 1.02/1.05/&1.08 for my 1.01! Not only is 1.01 Elliott, but the owner trying to trade w/ me has McFadden and Morris. Given the state of my team, do I stay and draft Zeke? Or, move back one spot, and pick up the 5 and 8 for passing on him? HELP PLEASE!

Although value is probably good in that trade offer, nobody will help your team more than Zeke. You'd simply be adding depth to your roster instead of a sure fire starter and weekly game changer.

Thanks bigbuck22! That's kind of what I was thinking too. I think I can even get the other owner for the other two picks he owns this year which is 2.03 & 2.11. But that brings me to the question then of: is there even that many guys in this draft class that I like? Outside of Zeke, I think I like around 2 to 3 other guys' landing spots. I HATE most of the landing spots, not to mention the lack of talent in this draft class.

I would still love to hear as much input on this as possible. Kind of like when an NFL team has #1 overall, they turn over every stone.

Zeke - very few rookies are assured to get volume like he will, and he also steps into a situation with a solid QB, and arguably the best offensive line in the NFL. Rare situation, and you need to take it. Oh, and he's really good.

No sense of loading up on rookie picks in this draft when you don't care for the talent or depth. I put Elliott right up there w Bell and Gurley (big shoes, I understand). He's got the capability to be a stud on your team. I'm not sure anyone else will be. The chances to acquire studs don't come around very often.

Thanks smithmn, and thanks again bigbuck22! I think you guys are both right. I'm just going to take Zeke. Now, if this were 2017, obviously we have a different story. But, I think as a whole, this draft class will go down as a stinker for fantasy football purposes. Thanks again for talking me off the ledge fellas!

I love depth and first rounders but I agree, gotta keep 1.1 and take Elliot with that roster.

Lol. I know, right?! It's not by design. When either S.-Jenkins or Walford is arguably your best TE, you need back up plans. In this case, I have a lot. I would like to release some of them for better talent, even if it's just for a flyer. But, honestly there really aren't any on our WW. This league is pretty good at keeping the WW thin.

Have you been getting any offers from teams that actually have TEs? Like a combo of picks plus Eifert or Olsen or something?

When Zeke has a monster year you will be able to get a high-end WR1 for him. This is what I keep saying. Yes I know Zeke is expensive right now but I still think he is a buy low if you can get a somewhat reasonable price. Next year he will be at untouchable Gurley prices.
