Should I trade R. Cobb?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I trade R. Cobb?

Postby NY CAT » Thu Mar 17, 2016 12:51 pm

I was thinking about trading R. Cobb for

Scenario #1: G. Bernard, J Matthews and 1.7?
Scenario#2: D. Parker and 2016 1.4.

Scenario#3: 2016 pick 1.2

Do any of the above make sense or should I pass? Can I get more?

My Currents WRS are DGB, Michael Floyd, AROB, Jamison Crowder, Donte Moncrief, D.Adams and Kenny Bell.

I would do trade #2. I really like Parker and feel that the 1.04 will bring one of (treadwell, doctson, coleman, or henry if you like him). Also based on your WR core, it doesn't appear that you will be in the ship this year, so you might as well gain a couple years of youth.

It wouldn't shock me if Parker and Cobb ended up with very similar numbers in 2016. Prob something like 1000 yds and 10 TDs

I would also do trade 2. I wish I could have gotten that deal for my Cobb.

I would make any one of those trades in a heartbeat and rank them 2, 1, then 3. However, I'm not sure those trades would get accepted.

Scenario 2 is absolutely your best option... I have Cobb, and I'm shopping him around right now.

These have been proposed to you or you're thinking of offering? The only one I think that might get accepted is #3, the other 2 I see as big overpays

Personally, I would be really happy with either of the 1st two options. As the Cobb owner, I wouldn't do option 3.

Ecco on scenario 2, that's would be a very solid move.
Personally I would also go with scenario 1 or 3 (BUT I have Cobb outside top24 which is not market value)
Team 1, 0.5 PPR SuperFlex: QB, FlexQB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, Flex
QB: Watson, Herbert (Mariota)
RB: Barkley, Jacobs, Dobbins (Akers, K Herbert)
WR: DJ Moore, Woods, Golladay (T Patrick, Shenault, Rondale M, Cephus)
TE: Goedert (Njoku, Bryant, Trautman)
Pick 1.01

I would jump on #2 and strongly consider #3.

As a Cobb owner I would definitely do #2, deeply consider #1 and pass on #3.

The problem I see with this trade for a rebuilding team (not even taking into consideration Mb's problems) is that there weren't any premium picks received and Edelman isn't young.

Trade offer 2 looks tempting.

#2 is the best option if you can pull that one off.
