Trading 1.02

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading 1.02

Postby Prickler » Fri Mar 11, 2016 2:25 pm

I'm contemplating my options of what to do with my 2016 1.02. I've had multiple inquiries so I'm looking at how to best utilize it. I am of the opinion there is no "sure thing" at the moment, but I'd probably be happy with Zeke if he fell. There are on the other hand a bunch of intriguing prospects about 15-20 deep.

Looking for opinions on multiple-2-3 tops 20 picks vs a Treadwell or Doctson. Still fairly new to dynasty so I'm learning the ins and out of rookie drafts.

For the 1.02, you could probably drop down to 1.06 or so and nab a couple 2nds for doing that. Do NOT trade 1.02 for 3 seconds or something. You can get more.

I have the 1.02 in a league and am looking to drop 2-4 spots and get a future first for the trouble. I'm higher then most on Dixon at the moment so that move makes sense until the draft changes things. Once the draft hits, the values of the picks will be much more solidified. Good luck.

Stick at 1.02. Studs win dynasty leagues and you don't often get the chance to pick that high

one thing I love is watching people follow the crowd in terms of rookie drafts. once one person puts one out it might as well be written in stone. do your own analysis. you can capitalize on these trends. if you have a guy or a couple you're in love with and their adp is later, trade down, take your guy and add some nice pieces in the process.

I read from some other thread. One owner added a little to his 1.02 to get 1.01. He was telling the other owner how much he wanted to get Treadwell. He got the 1.01 pick from the other owner because the other owner thought he would still get Zeke at 1.02.

With that newly acquired 1.01 pick, he is going to pick Zeke. lol

Studs win championships not a bunch of guys. Right now in sticking with 1.2 holding it until before your draft, that when rookie fever sets in and the price goes up. Hold for now and if your not blown away keep the pick.
