Go after Hill or Ivory?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Go after Hill or Ivory?

Postby Hankybro21 » Fri Sep 18, 2015 9:36 pm

Considering making a run at Hill or Ivory. The same owner has both and has a lot of RB depth (Hill, CJA, Ivory, Foster, Gurley) but is sparse at best in WR. Wondering what would be a good starting point deal for Hill or Ivory (preferably Hill). I would be willing to ship off some WR and picks. Or is this a move I should even pursue considering my young, albeit unproven, RB depth. Team in sig. 8 team league and im guessing I'll be later in the draft.

Hill by a mile. Could have a huge career and he's still so young.

Ivory should be good for most of this year, after that there are question marks with Ridley returning and Ivory's inability to stay healthy.

I agree with Hill but would just be concerned over his price. Wondering what combo of my WR and picks would be reasonable to get Hill

If I could choose one based on I have ranked higher, then it's Hill easily. If I'm looking for the best bang for my buck for production this year, it's Ivory.

hes not comparing them, hes asking which one to go after. Ridleys return shouldn't scare anyone who owns or wants to own ivory because ivory is just a way better back. The ONLY concern with ivory is him getting injured, because if he gets his touches he would be a top 10 back in the league (evident in week 1).

Obviously if they are the same price or you are drafting you have to go hill. C'mon people, hes not LITERALLY saying hill or ivory. So to the original question, it all depends on price he wants for each of them. Ivory is worth a late firt after week 1 and will only get more expensive the more big games he has. Whereas hill is near where his max price tag will be, so it all depends on what you want to give up.

Yea sorry if the post was confusing. Basically I want to target Hill first and if not the try Ivory. Was trying to get a feel as to what each player would cost from my current WR group and picks
