Debate: Joseph Randle or Chris Ivory

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Debate: Joseph Randle or Chris Ivory

Postby mylesduve » Fri Aug 28, 2015 7:52 pm

For team in sig.

Was offered Ivory and a '16 1st (prob high) for Randle, Dareus and a low '16 2nd. Thoughts?

I'd probably take Ivory and the pick upgrade.

I like Randle, but it's going to be a RBBC, even if McFadden gets hurt. If I was offered a 2nd round pick for him, I'd take it.

x2 I like the way Ivory is looking and that rd1 pick will be nice next year. Randle has no real track record as a full time starter and could be in a 3 way committee. I actually like DMC to have his best year this season now that there is zero expectations.

I Had randle and traded him for a 2nd for the sole purpose of getting something out of him that will help in a few years

I think this talk of Rbbc is bollocks. I saw McFadden this preseason & he looked awful . Randle was the far superior back . Randle will have a heavy load, take it to the bank . Would I take him over Ivory? Probably not..

Ivory x6.

Randle. RBBC. Injuries this offseason. Unproven. Theft and marijuana possession off the field.

Although, I don't know what Dareus' value is, so makes it hard to calculate all the moving parts. The Bills DST are going to be scary good this year.
