Can my team win it all?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Can my team win it all?

Postby freddog97 » Thu Jun 22, 2017 6:56 pm

I am coming out of a mini rebuild ! Does my team have what it takes to win it all? What would you target to make my team a solid contender? I have an owner in my league wanting my Martavis Bryant...and has spoke about a DT<--->Bryant swap. Maybe a RB upgrade?

Without looking at the other teams in the league this looks like it could make the playoffs and if it got hot it could take home the championship. I wouldn't think it would be the favorite though personally. I would try to consolidate some of your depth and try to trade it for higher impact players. I'd try to trade either Parker or Diggs with one of your starters to get an even better starter
16 team .5 PPR

You are probably a year away from really competing. You have some awesome youth at RB, WR, TE, but they are probably going to be inconsistent this year. I don't see any redraft studs outside of WR on your team right now, but you could have some guys catch fire like Gurley, Henry, or Crowell.

With how young your WRs are, I would still probably trade Martavis for DT if that is being offered.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I would send MB for DT easily. Then your team becomes much more competitive

I think you've got a solid team and I would be surprised if you didn't at least make the playoffs. Who knows after that? I like that you have good young pieces for the future, D.Henry, Cooks, C.Coleman, H.Henry, O.Howard, etc, so even if you don't get in, your team should be relevant for the next several seasons.

I'd upgrade at qb if it were my team. You have quite a bit of depth.... use it. As of now, your wasting 3 roster spots on the Broncos qb. Not wise roster management imo. perriman or Bryant can likely land you a solid qb if you wanted. I also think turning some of the wr youth into proven commodities would go a long ways towards being competitive.

You have a nice paper team....but lack high end production imo....your best player is cooks, who's future is not certain.

1) Yes, I'd make the trade.
2) I still think that you're a couple of alpha dogs away from really competing. Good middle of the roster and back-end of the roster, but a couple of studs shy. You have players that might grow into that role, though, so you're in great shape. If a trade avails itself, then you have the upside depth to go for it.
