Looking for advice.

12 team
2 keeper no limit

Should trading be allowed all year. Meaning coul you trade a player a draft pick to become a keeper. For example I have gurley, David Johnson, and mt. Can I trade mt for a pick or pick swap?

Can they be allowed? Sure.

It's a vote for the league to decide.

Ahhh....

Pro: It's fun, and it keeps the league a 12-month interest.

Con: Not everyone will be into it -- especially if they didn't sign up for it with the intention of it being year-round. Half the league will be actively improving their team while the other half won't yet be caught up on fantasy football.

In a keep-2 league, I'd defer to the "con" side unless most people really want it. I've also found that, in a keep-2 league, most people are reluctant in, say, March, to deal away one of their three studs -- injuries, holdouts, etc. all happen. Only the couple of teams with 4+ keeper-worthy players tend to wheel-and-deal.

That being said, if most owners are for it, then go ahead. Speaking personally, I'm always in favor of year-round fantasy football!!
