Just had a crazy draft

Postby slacker » Tue Sep 05, 2017 7:15 am

I am totally sucked into dynasty but my in-laws do a redraft league that I feel obligated to be part of. I did a few mocks beforehand so I could tell RBs were gonna go fast but was unprepared for how far receivers were gonna fall. 10 team, standard, 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex, dst, k. I drafted 9th. Got DT at 5.9, Sammy at 7.9, DeVante Parker at 8.2. Can't decide if I am a genius or clueless idiot. Final roster is as follows:

Rivers, Bradford
McCoy, Gordon, Montgomery, Charles, Sproles
Hopkins, Keenan, DT, DeVante Parker, Sammy
Ebron, Howard
Bills
Gostkowski

What am I missing? Are receivers that useless in non-PPR?
12 team PPR, 22 Roster, QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 FLEX, K, DEF
Rivers, Eli
Watkins, Evans, Keenan, Hopkins, Pryor, R. Matthews, Marshall, P. Richardson, CPatt
McCoy, Zeke, Rawls, Ware
Gronk, Njoku, Butt, Everette, Higbee

In dynasty , WR stay healthier longer , RB getting young talent to use for a few years is key, it's all about longevity, but there are Atleast twice maybe three times the amount of starting WR as are starting RB . Look at Steelers they have Bell, but at WR you have both Brown and Bryant .
Dolphins have Ajayi, but at WR have Parker, Landry, Stills. So that's why you Can get good value on WR late in the draft

I think you had a great draft. My suggestion to you is to try and move Sammy + ty to someone for one more solid RB just in case you suffer an injury. You have enough WR depth to do so.

They are devalued in a redraft compared to a dynasty but thats just simply solid value on receivers especially Watkins at the end of the 7th
