I play in a 12 team superflex league with up to 4 keepers. I can keep Melvin Gordon in 2nd and Mike Evans in the 3rd. It seems like a no-brainer, however, knowing the how the league drafts and the other QBs I would expect to be kept, I am very nervous about my ability to draft a 2nd QB in the 4th round. I do have Jared Goff as a late round keeper, although I would much prefer for him to be my QB3.
Do I keep things simple by keeping both Gordon and Evans and address my QB2 post-draft, if necessary, or do I trade either of those guys pre-draft and free up that draft position for another QB?
I am considering just simply not keeping Gordon. Given the expected keepers on other teams, however, I would expect Gordon would creep into the 1st round in this league, so that seems like a bit of a waste. Thoughts?

Re: Keeper Advice
Not knowing who would be available, my instinct is to keep Evans and release Gordon. Odds are that, in the second round, at worst, you'll get a player slightly below Gordon. The upside is a far better player or QB. I'd take that gamble.

Thanks. The more I think about it, I have been leaning that direction as well, but good to hear another opinion. I appreciate it!

Re: Keeper Advice
Well, still haven't drafted, but I decided to trade Gordon in exchange for moving up from the 14th to the 10th later in the draft. I like the move for the flexibility in the 2nd round, however I did like the idea of having at least 1 RB in place prior to the draft.
This poses a new question. I like my current WR situation lot with Evans in the 3rd, Micheal Thomas in the 8th and Kelvin Benjamin in the 11th (don't love Benjamin, but thought it was ok value that late in the draft). However, I miss having that RB and likely won't draft one until at least the 4th unless I can get really good value on someone in the 1st or 2nd, which I don't anticipate. Another owner has Jordan Howard in the 14th. I am considering making a Micheal Thomas for Jordan Howard offer. Both are eligible to kept 2 more years after this at a two round premium over their prior year draft/keeper position. Do I sit tight with Evans/Thomas as my WR 1 & 2, or do I part with Thomas to secure Howard late in the draft? If I do trade, what is a fair offer, is straight up good enough or picks be involved? I'm having a hard time between Thomas in the 8th or Howard in the 14th, but think the value is probably pretty equal as is. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
