Keep Which 2? McKinnon, Smallwood or New England DST?

Postby Oblong_Ball » Tue Jun 13, 2017 2:24 pm

It's my last two keeper spots in a 16-team PPR league. We only get 13 keepers, 20 man rosters. Doesn't help me if I don't keep 13, it just means I have an open bench spot to add players after the draft vs. dropping/adding.

Which two would you keep out of those three and why? Current roster is in my signature.

Jerrick McKinnon
Wendell Smallwood

I'd keep McKinnon & Smallwood. No real reason other than I wouldn't keep a DST. With 16 teams, 13 keepers, and 20 man rosters I would bet that a good portion of the teams won't keep a DST so there will probably be several viable DSTs available in your draft.

Unlikely, here's the DST's that are being kept as of now:

Bills DST
Texans DST
Chargers DST
Cardinals DST
Chiefs DST
Bengals DST
Rams DST
Seahawks DST
Broncos DST
Steelers DST
Eagles DST
Panthers DST
Vikings DST

So, it looks like I'm wrong about other teams not keeping DSTs. Still wouldn't change my decision. If 13 of 16 teams are keeping DSTs, that only leaves 3 that would be likely to draft one. Just my opinion.

Very true, although multiple teams are keeping 2 DST's (bad keeper options). I think I agree with you.

I'll just have to try and draft New England DST haha!
