Dynasty vs Redraft Draft Strategy

This is my 1st year doing a dynasty league, but I am also still in 2 redraft/small keeper leagues. I'm concerned that all of the research that I am doing for dynasty will mess with my strategy for the redraft leagues, particularly in the drafting aspect. Any advice on how to keep them separate? Thank you!

I personally play in 4 dynasty leagues then 2-3 redrafts with family, friends, and coworkers. The biggest take on Strategy is based on the league scoring. If non PPR i always go RB 1st/2nd round and take the studs. Also in redraft i don't aim for young players like i would in dynasty! its a one year league why would you draft a young guy who's learning over a vet who will produce? An example would be drafting Cooper over AB or Julio. You could rationalize it in dynasty when youth matters but in redraft...Take the proven vet who will produce. Remember League scoring should dictate your main Strategy but also remember Vets are valued in redrafts!

I'd keep a dynasty mindset.

Then, when planning for a redraft league, I'd look online at any redraft ranking -- not because I think that it's reliable but because it will refocus you for the current year. When you see Frank Gore, for instance, light years ahead of tons of rookie RBs, then you'll get right back into the redraft mindset.

This is an excellent note. Thanks for the tip!
