Auction Strategy/Rankings

Postby Friction » Thu Oct 20, 2016 3:33 pm

I have to help (do the draft) my rich uncle in some auction league that drafts in a couple weeks. It is a redraft, $200 auction, just for the rest of this season. Full PPR, something like 16-18 roster spots, QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/K/DST. I have done auctions and all that, both dynasty and redraft, though not so much redraft lately. I obviously can use GOOGLE and such to find some sites/rankings, but figured I would ask if anybody has a go-to or good recommendation for this. Since it is only for half a season and we kind of know who is who and what major injuries have occurred thus far, I am fine for the most part. Even though it is a very big money league, most of the owners are fairly casual when it comes to fantasy football and I don't think any of them have much, if any, experience with auction drafts. I am sure the draft will take 8 hours or something ridiculous. Thanks for any feedback or even any tips to outwitting rookie auctionees.
