What would you do: Jordy Nelson vs Jay Ajayi

Postby SIMBA44 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 7:54 am

I can either keep Jordy in the 15th round or Ajayi in the 9th. At first, Jordy seems obvious (0.5 ppr) but our league limits keeping a player for only three years. If I pick Jordy, this is my last year to keep him in the 15th and I surrender the right to keep Ajayi ever again. If I keep Ajayi I lock in 2 years of having him in the 9th. What would you do?

How many players can you keep each year? Who else do you have, and how many years do they have remaining?

Only can keep one each year. These are the two best keepers

If you're keeping one player per year, then I tend to default to the player who is going to put up the best numbers. In Jordy vs. Ajayi, that's Jordy by far.

I'm also higher on Jordy than most and lower on Thomas than most. That being said, if you consider them relatively close in terms of anticipated production in 2017, then go for Thomas easily. He'll have ongoing keeper value for the future (presuming that you can continue to keep him for cheap). If it's only for 2017, then I'd still go with Jordy without a second thought.

Michael Thomas in the 14th would be my pick.

You can keep him 2 more years. #1 proven stud with Brees. Diva Cooks is out of town. Top 10 WR his rookie year.

QB - Jackson, Herbert
RB - Achane, Chubb, Henry, Mitchell, Hubbard, Chandler, R. Johnson
WR - Waddle, Collins, Reed, Evans, Hyatt
TE - Andrews, Engram, McBride
2024 Picks, 1.08, 2, 3 ,4
