Is there a public dlf league to follow?

I'm wondering if there is a league that consists of mostly active forum-users here--you know, the ones we all know and love and post regularly with their sage-like wisdom. Does such a league exist? I think it'd be really fun next season to watch a league and actually be semi-invested in each of the teams...

You should start one and we can use our dlf names as team names. I'm in. Maybe mFL would let us use their services for free, if not, we can just keep it cheap so its fun and active. I'm in a few leagues affiliated with the forum, but never did a startup.

I just don't know how I'd continue to get good advice if I were potentially competing with those guys directly. :)

I'd be down to try and start one, though I'm not sure if I'd be in my own "top 12" to manage a team...

Well, here's the main one that I know of, the DLF Charter league. DLF actually pays the MFL fees

A lot of us play in leagues together. All of my leagues currently, I have found here. Best way to be sure to get in an active league. Lol

Yeah, that was mostly tongue in cheek. I only found DLF this year and hope to find a good second dynasty league with active forum members for '15. Startup or just taking on an orphan.

Let's get one started. I'm looking to add one more active league for 2015.

I run a 12 team dyno on Fantrax that will have an open team very soon. Actually, Sloth beat me in the championship game in that league. I recruited that league on the forums. Several of the guys are fairly active posting here while some are newer. If interested, let me know.

My USFL Superflex has 11 of its 12 members who are DLFers. And it shows. The quality of the competition and the participation level are higher than my ESPN leagues, where there's a mix of DLFers and others.

Would be cool to see a true "forum league" where managers use their DLF aliases, premium members only.

I'll get it started and set up if someone wants to help Commish.

I have a salary cap set of bylaws that can be transitioned to nonsalary cap. Would need someone with design background for the site setup.

Along those lines, how would one determine who is premium member? I have a subscription but don't see anything in the forum that indicates such. It's never been an issue, but for potential inclusion in something like this it may be something that requires being addressed ;)

Premium members have gold names.

We could also just move this discussion to the "War room" section of the premium forums. This way we know it is dedicated to premium members.

If you are a premium member you should contact DLF and have them adjust your name to reflect so.

I'd like to see DLFiend and 49ersFaithful have teams in this league

Hah, that would be fun, I would be in if there's room. Also, I've been a premium member for a while now but my name never turned gold, so... Not always reliable. Using the war room is a good idea.
