We have been doing out same league for 12 years now, dynasty for 6. We have always used Yahoo, it's very easy to use, they are getting better with keeping rosters from year to year. But are there other sites that allow the league to be run all year long? Allows trades, transactions all year? Any ideas, thanks.

MFL is far and away the best. Splitting it in a league make site very affordable

Second the MFL. We have used it for multiple leagues and I don't see another site even close.

Last year was my first year in mfl, and this year I'm moving two other leagues there. Uber flexible, cheap, I'm not familiar with to many others, but mfl is very much my preferred league host.

The higher ups here at DLF need to sticky a thread called Best Dynasty League sites. This topic is coming up on a seemingly weekly basis now. Hell I've only been back posting for about a month and I think this is the third or fourth time I've answered this same question.

MFL is hands down the best site for dynasty leagues. You can import your 12 year history to their site, the have more customization options for appearance, rules, scoring and many other things. Their sites run 365 days a year and you set your own calendar. No other site whether it be pay or free comes close to matching MFL for
year around leagues. I'll never join a meaningful league that uses any other site.

I'm assuming the MFL is My fantasy league.

If you are looking for a free alternative, I really like fleaflicker.com. It offers a lot of options.

That being said, if your leagues has some very unique settings, mfl may be a better option.

I have played mfl before and I am in the minority in that, I pretty much HATE it.
It rates a 10+ on options/customization etc
It rates a 1 or 2 on the UI...which makes me not enjoy it.

I still prefer Yahoo.
Sue me.

If it's a dynasty league, it's gotta be MFL.

I'm in two non-MFL leagues: a redraft league on Yahoo and a 2 player Keeper league on ESPN, and the only thing those sites are good for is abusing people on draft day when they are too reliant on the draft board that is offered by the website.

LOL. I was just thinking the same thing.

I'm in 15 leagues, and other than my redraft leagues on ESPN, I won't do a dynasty on any other site than MFL.

Really? I think MFL could learn a lot from ESPN's player search function. You can search on any number of keys (availability, injury status, whether on my watch list etc) order the results on any stat, and it's integrated directly with other functions like make waiver bid or make trade offer. Everything about MFL's UI seems clunky and archaic to me.

And don't get me started on the real-time scoring, with the whole page refreshing every minute. That's a bit last century.

I've also heard there's no native app for Android, if true that's totally unacceptable for a pay-site.

And I'm not the commish, but I've heard many times that the setup menus are a nightmare to navigate, so much so that most commisioners aren't aware of all the options available.

MFL may still be the best available but the design base seems so old that it's either going to become unmaintainable or get overtaken by some better-designed platform before long.

I think that for most leagues, MFL is way, way too convoluted. There are free platforms out there (like ESPN) that are perfect for standard-ish scoring set ups.

I'm curious about Reality Sports Online, though I heard reviews all over the place on it.

How is MFL's apps?

We use CBS, which is expensive, but we've had no problems with it since our league's inception. And the phone app, which is what most of my owners use during the season, is fantastic.
