Top 10 NFL WRs under 25 years old?

just so im clear... i dont take umbrage with anyone not placing him in the top 10 wr's under 25... although i dont agree... but when someone says the kid doesnt have the talent? that's simply the aburd statement of a hater. i can dislike a player and still acknowledge their strengths... you can knock d jax on plenty of levels legitimately... talent just isn't one of them.

A ton of guys are dangerous in open space. The point is that there are other guys on these list's that don't need to have space to produce, which makes those players more consistant and desirable.

In regards to desean, regardless of how you think his skills/talents are, I just can't handle the big swings. I can't deal with 30 one week and 2 the next. You are going to get that with him. I also disagree that djax only runs one route! He runs TWO: fly pattern and bubble screens! Lol

I think that's another overrated criticism about desean jackson is the boom and bust nature of his production. Me and vince had a huge blow up about this when I first joined the forums, and I did a statistical analysis of the variance of scoring of the top 30 wr's, and Djax's wasn't particularly variant. As I recall the only players who's production was significantly less variant than were Steve Smith (giants at the time) and Wes Welker. The only player as I recall that was significantly variant was Randy Moss (upon looking at it, Austin was too, but he wasn't starting at the begining of the year so his data was skewed) , who had some truly boom and bust games. But, the nature of production from the wide receiver position is that almost every player is variant. I'll see if I can find that thread, so you can look over the work I did.

In other news, Desean has not developed as I thought he would two years ago, and is not as valuable as I thought he would be at this point in his career. However, I sold high on him before this season in the two leagues I had him in. I will be targeting him to buy low on this off season, depending on where he lands.

I'm going to put the debate of djax and Stevie being on this last to an end...as of Dec 1st both these WRs are over 25 years old. DJax turned 25 Dec 1st and Stevie turns 26 before next season. Mike Wallace also falls under this category.
