But nobody is going to give WR2 value for him! what makes you think anybody is going to do that after a few good games? It took a whole entire season for people to finally admit Brandon Lloyd was for real...lets be realistic here....for what people are realistically going to give you for him you may as well just hold him. I'd rather him potentially do bad on my bench....than potentially do good for someone elses starting line-up.... he is a hold.
wouldnt get WR value for him from me that's for sure. I think he is a wr3 so if you cant package him up with a 3rd rounder or something and nab a solic wr2 then you're right, just roll him as your wr3

I've got to be honest here - I was a doubter about Cruz. There always seem to be these guys that have huge games, create a fantasy frenzy and then disappear. I don't think Cruz is one of those guys. I'm becoming a believer. He's certainly done enough to warrant playing time and if nothing else he's seriously damaging Manningham's fantasy value.

Thoughts on his value? Got an offer of Cruz for my 1st, floated out a reply of DWill+Edelman. He's a big risk that I might as well take picking a rookie, and next years 1st round should be pretty stacked.

I've always been a huge fan of Cruz, after that pre-season a year ago he didn't look like your typical waiver wire fodder so I've had him stashed since, but even his fast start has surprised me. I haven't started him as a WR3 yet because the Giants don't ever sound confident in his role, and then the game rolls around and he leads the team in targets. He makes some really huge plays it seems like every week, and I think he's forced the Giants hands here, he's got no choice but to see a solid role going forward.

Reminds me alot of Miles Austin back when he was just making big plays sporadically, and when he was given a full time role he took off. Nicks is still the man, but he takes all the attention away. I'm absolutely holding Cruz, he's the same age as AJ Green I believe, or an old rookie. He's not even as good as he's gonna get, and his highs are pretty high right now.

I'm gonna target him in a few leagues because his price might be decent, for the upside I think he offers. I want to see a full season of him this year before figuring out who he is 100%. I do know he's a hold, if you don't like him you've got to be targeting someone who can help your team now or offer some upside later. I'd prefer Cruz over Denarius Moore in terms of young stashes.

Cruz had a freakishly lucky ling TD pass. Without that he would have looked pretty pedestrian. I grabbed him in a couple leagues and he's a definite stash, but no way worth a WR2 as of yet.

Is 7 for 93 pedestrian? That's a good day in my eyes.

The irony. Once viewed as a wr3, he's now the #3 wr.

That 99 yard td was no fluke either. He broke cromartie's and Kyle wilson's ankles, then high stepped over Eric smith who tried tripping him before he outraced everyone else.

Cruz = dynasty pick up of the year as he was available almost everywhere!

Yea, I'm completely sold. I didn't think I'd ever say it but he's the better WR out of him and Hakeem Nicks. He's really explosive lining up in the slot and he churns out 100 yard games like no other. 10 games over 90 yards this year. Talk about consistency.

I am sold also, especially with Manningham a FA next year. I don't know if he will be around but either way Cruz will clearly be in the game plan no matter what. I have Bowe and Britt as my main WRs going into next year-some question marks there. So Cruz will hopefully round out a nice trio if the chips fall right in the offseason. What I like about Cruz is his consistency. Great pick up.
