Dt to Patriots
Dt to Patriots
Anything to see here? could have some decent flex appeal for a 1 year rental given the lack of depth and available targets.
Re: Dt to Patriots
It's certainly noteworthy in my opinion..

Apparently 1 year deal that could be worth up to 6m. Guess we shall see if this changes their draft board in regards to WR.

Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

There go all my shares of Maurice Harris right down the drain.

Re: Dt to Patriots
Color me skeptical, but I don't see how this was better than Houston. He's now older and coming off an achilles. Nothing to see here IMO.

I agree. This reminds me of the Jordan Matthews signing last year.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 2:47 pm Color me skeptical, but I don't see how this was better than Houston. He's now older and coming off an achilles. Nothing to see here IMO.
Re: Dt to Patriots
camp body/veteran presence. He's not even top 3 on their roster. Harris/Dorsett are better at this point IMO.

He was already declining before he went to Houston. His career is over IMO.problemsolver wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 2:55 pmI agree. I'm sure it's based heavily on incentives. I could be wrong though I guess.PurpleHaze wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:21 pmNot for up to $6 million. That's a lot of cash.
This must be the fastest achilles recovery ever

Re: Dt to Patriots
Pats are truly desperate for WR help, I guess. And no one is taking their trade calls.
Unless I'm misinformed about his injury, the main problem is that DT won't be ready to play until mid-season, if even then. It seems unlikely he does much this year, whether he's employed or not.

Re: Dt to Patriots
Meh. Every Pats signing seems to get the needle moving for ppl but I’m not budging on this. Older Wr coming off Achilles injury. I was interested pre injury while in Houston but he was a major letdown. I’m moving on.
Re: Dt to Patriots
I love DT and feel like I've always been higher on him than most in the past. But he's done. He was done last year and I don't see him doing much this year...even in NE.
Re: Dt to Patriots
Low cost signing. I am sure it is completely incentive based.
Josh McDaniels knows his game as good as anyone. Sounds like he is ahead of schedule on his recovery. Probably a pup or short term IR candidate to get ready for the playoffs next year.
