He's is the most talked about GM by far right now, and not one comment is on his picks.
He has only had 2 picks! :D

yep the boys made plenty of sport about clarion oldness but when that 2020 draft comes around we shall see who is laughing the loudest .
I as I told the boys during the draft have been looking for a wreck of a team to rebuild as mine are mostly monsters so I built one from scratch . We will see where it goes from here ?
Well, you might think it would be you, but that's probably because in your heightened state of dementia, you'll forget to turn on your hearing aid, in order to hear the fact we will all be laughing quite loudly.

Definitely a completely different draft (so far) to the GEDL draft. Just an important reminder how different owners in a different format can completely change the outcome of a draft. Good luck guys! :)
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Superflex is a huge game changer. However, only one QB off the board, which isn't too surprising given this QB class.

LOL is there a rule in this league that prevents tradebacks in the rookie draft? Or are people trade-stingy?

Nothing against Paris Campbell & I can't fault anyone for drafting him where they believe he's worth. But wouldn't it have been safe to assume that he would be there a few picks later & then move back a few slots to grab him then?

Maybe this is just a year where nobody wants to trade up?

Interesting dynamics at play here......

CC was at work and didn't want to hold up the draft. It's unfortunate that he felt pressured to draft. We have enough time...

BTW, we had a ton of trade-backs in the Veteran Draft that ran a few days ago. However, the rookie draft is another animal entirely. Not sure what to attribute it to...

Nobody should ever feel pressure to draft before their time. However, I would say that if you are drafting rookie picks in a startup you should have a pretty good idea of who you want to take there. I don't think CC would have made the pick if he didn't want to. He certainly walks to the beat of his own drum, just look at his start up strategy.

There has been one rookie trade so far but there were a few trades for rookie picks during the vet draft. The shiny new toy theory is typically in play some and the fact we don't know where players will end up makes trading a bit more difficult.

Owners certainly are drafting based on their pre-draft valuations.

Pick values are pretty close. There are a couple of surprises but all players taken so far look pretty solid. Campbell should be a high volume slot WR. I had a 1st round grade on him personally in fantasy and think he is a 2nd round NFL pick. The only real unknown is his route tree in the NFL. Tons of speed but runs real short routes. Very RB like in many ways. Think I compared him to Tate/Kamara Hybrid or maybe Percy Harvin which is what I saw on film. Thought it was a bold pick since I had Jacobs at 1.4 on my board.

That said, I am sure a few owners thought I reached at 2 and 3 with DK and M. Brown.

There are a lot of strong opinions on players in this group. That was evident in the vet draft as well which will make this league a lot of fun.
