Next breakout stars
Next breakout stars
I'm trying to think of guys next season who could be had for little who could break out and become something.
For example:
This time last season guy like James Connor and Tyler Boyd could of been had for almost nothing and now have some value to themselves.
I'm thinking like Jonnu Smith could be a guy like that, maybe Geronimo Allison maybe Deon Cain, dare I say Laquon Treadwell!!!
I feel like this would be a god topic to start if it hasn't already been started.

Justin Watson. Well maybe in 2020 if he shows flashes this season.
Re: Next breakout stars
I don't remember Connor being given away but yes Boyd was super cheap. I was picking him up off waivers in some leagues.
Some guys that standout to me:
Ronald Jones - Although I don't like him, considering his depth chart, situation, and PRICE/EXPECTATIONS, I think there's a scenario where he could have a massive boost.
Dante Pettis - 49ers.
John Ross - Year 3, similar situation to the aforementioned Boyd.
Chris Herndon - No true WR1 on that offense, Herndon flashed a bit as a rookie. Is super young. A lot of positive signs for him IMO.

Re: Next breakout stars
all back up RBs. I'm particularly ones behind good lines. I am fond of D'Onta Foreman, Malcolm Brown or John Kelly, Jaylen Samuels, Elijah McGuire, Wayne Gallman, and Kalen Ballage. Not all of them have good lines, but I am also a fan of their talent.

Taywan Taylor. Once he leaves TEN (so not this year unless he is traded).
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Re: Next breakout stars
nah its a fine league its ten team and you are not remembering conners value too clearly. i vividly remember passing on him for ridley even as a bell owner because he was not viewed as a quality handcuff. he was about as free as could be until it was really becoming a concern bell wouldnt showJason3123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 10:51 amThat's not a good league lol. Re: Next breakout stars
He was on waivers or end of bench in multiple of my leagues as well, all 12-team SF. His rookie ADP was below guys like Wayne Gallman, Joseph Williams, Jeremy McNichols and Bucky Hodges. As of the 2018 offseason, prior to the stuff about Bell sitting out, he was a guy with 32 carries and 0 catches who looked to be stifled behind the best RB in the league.Jason3123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 10:51 amThat's not a good league lol. Not saying he should've been on waivers -- I know I held him where I had him, and got him where I could. But calling a 10 team league "bad" for having him on waivers is making generous use of hindsight.
