Best landing spots left?

Postby hockeyBjj » Wed Mar 13, 2019 10:00 am

Free agency has been nuts, and the ink can't even be signed yet for a couple hours. With funchess to the colts, Hyde to KC, Ingram to Ravens, bell to Jets, even Foles to Jags: What are the best landing spots yet available for free agents?

Tevin Coleman hasn't been scooped up yet and I always felt he'd go to the runner up in the Bell sweepstakes. Oakland still looks like a top spot for an rb, packers could always use WRs it seems. What else is left there, or is it time to try and move free agents who haven't yet signed before that becomes obvious they aren't getting something pretty?

The Patriots need WRs.

EDIT: The Patriots currently have Julian Edelman, Braxton Berrios and Cody Hollister under contract.

I'd say chiefs RB is still the most coveted landing spot left. That's not to say KC will definitely add anyone, but Hyde is a depth/backup option at this point and Williams is probably best suited for a complimentary/passing down role. So if the Chiefs were to spend on a Coleman or take and RB in round 2-3 then that would probably be the best landing spot available at this point in time. It's the only place Ingram could have gone that I would've preferred over Baltimore.

^cheers thanks. I actually forgot about Philly, and that could be a prime spot for potentially top 15 numbers. Tampa as well although not as high.

I doubt the Raiders will shell out much money for any of the backs left. They gave Richard a tender and I would guess Lynch will be back due to staying in Oakland.

Doubtful. I know this community likes him because of the last preseason but he is just not that good of an overall running back.

I would think a RB taken round 4-5 gets a chance before Warren; beyond what is already on the roster.

Richard got a second round tender. Extremely relevant.

I’m hoping that Lynch returns so I don’t have to stress about finding a good RB4.

Indy seems like a good landing spot for RB or WR. I'm not sure they will make many moves after signing funchess and exiting the bell sweepstakes....but it's still a great landing spot if they do make another signing.

Sorry I jinxed you Cody Hollister. Good luck in the XFL.

Its official. Julian Edelman will have all 300 of the WR targets next year.

Ajayi to Indy would make me very happy. 2 years, $8M all day long. I would love it.
