Just goes to show how divided the opinions are on someone like Jameis Winston. This could be Baker Mayfield or Dwayne Haskins future perception one day too - not saying it will - just that every sky high owner on Mayfield needs to remember that a lot of people were sky high on Winston once too.

It was mentioned on the Godwin thread by different people that
(a) Winstons accuracy was poor
(b) Arians said that his accuracy issues could be mechanical
(c) suggested that mechanics are close to impossible to change at that stage
Anyways I stumbled upon a couple of, what I thought are, interesting & potentially relevant articles. Posting them here rather than derailing the Godwin thread.

Arians wants Winston to bulk up to 250 instead of the 230ish weight he plays at.

He's only 25 years old people....besides for the fact he has some serious turnover issues he's actually a great QB and an even better fantasy QB.
Some of his turnovers are inexcusable but I also think those stats are inflated because of the situations he's been constantly put in by poor defense and a terrible head coach. I expect him to take a big leap forward in cutting down stupid mistakes this season with Arians coaching him.

The biggest difference is Mayfield is one of the most accurate quarter back prospects to ever enter the league, Jameis's issue in the NFL were there in college and people knew it they just wanted to believe they can fix it. I still think Jameis is a good QB and with proper coaching he can be a franchise QB. He's a gunslinger for sure but has some terrible decisions making skills and some accuracy issues. The accuracy issues may never go away he could easily cut his INT's in half by just being more mature and not making dumb decisions.ArrylT wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 7:59 am Just goes to show how divided the opinions are on someone like Jameis Winston. One of the most awkward pregame speeches I've ever seen. People looked uncomfortable, like: "Man, I wish I hadn't had to see that."
"You're a creep. You got caught.." -Dan Patrick
