On the other end of things, I would like to see the Steelers grab Tyrell Williams to try and make up some of the loss. Not sure of the cap situation.

I don't think anyone will know until Brown is on the field with Carr/Murray that said Carr is a downgrade and the offense was notoriously bad last season. The draft upcoming they need some more weapons on the offensive side. I think he will get plenty of targets but the touchdowns should regress. Better than Buffalo but not as good as staying in Pittsburgh. I think he would fall out of the top 5 WR's in startups but only takes one owner. As far as currently owning him this is better than some other landing spots but not as good as I expected.

I predict a pretty short honeymoon period. Gruden shouldn't be confused with a Players type coach. Brown shouldn't be confused with being a team player. The fireworks should be fun to watch.

It is about the best spot AB owners could hope for but AB will take a hit.

Hopefully this means Carr is staying in Oakland. Great chance for Raiders to now draft a young stud WR to learn from the best, and use 2 other 1st rounders plus the 2nd on defense

I am wondering about all the positive vibes in this thread; are people actually happy he a Raider or happy he isn't a Bill or some other really bad spot? Do people expect AB to be top 5 or top 10 the next couple of years? As a Cooper owner, I would be pretty worried AB turns into a weekly boom / bust player.

My concern would be how good the chemistry is between AB and Carr and subsequently how well Carr handles all the diva moments from AB during games.

Cooper cannot hold a candle to AB talent-wise, though. With no one else on the roster currently (though I would expect another WR or two to be added), I do not think it would be unreasonable to assume an average of double digit weeky targets.

In before A.Brown^2.

Pretty sure talent wasn't the issue. Last season Brown was the top WR in fantasy at 21.812 points per game. Cooper since joining Dallas was 5th best fantasy Wr at 19.188. The concern was Cooper was horrible with Carr.

The concern now is how will Brown actually do as a Raider. This team was terrible on offense, the QB isn't really close to Ben. and Brown seems to have hated Ben even though he was the top WR. Imagining how it will go with Carr after they get blown out a few times and Brown has a couple of bad games is the actual concern.

Double digit targets may be pushing it next season. The Steelers led the league attempting 689 passes last season. The Raiders were tied with the Ravens at 16th attempting 556.

While I think Brown's value takes a hit. No question he should help the Raiders.
