Let's talk... JuJu Smith-Schuster
Re: JuJu Value
I don't think you can give them credit for AB and then ignore Ayers, Brown & Clemons though.
Re: JuJu Value
Wash- too early IMO
Juju-hit
ayers-miss
coates-miss
martavis-hit (Can see a wash but to me what they got was a hit)
wheaton-miss
clemons-miss
brown-miss
Sanders-hit
AB-hit
including there late round flyers the Steelers sit at 4/9 which is about average and when removing the late rounders (those three+ AB) this comes to a 3/5 which is great but by no means spectacular, I beleive NFL average is around 50%
Re: JuJu Value
So how many 1st rounders in that group?Mjvb5 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 4:46 pmWash- too early IMO

Benching JuJu Smith-Schuster
Its time for me. JuJu is on my bench in at least one of my leagues and will likely stay there. At this rate I doubt he makes it to 80 catches this year. Just sad

Gotta do what it takes to get the W this time of year.

Re: Benching JuJu
I came here to ask/post the exact same thing. I guess he's a good buy-low if people will sell, but I also wonder if it was a perfect storm last year and he won't reach that level again.

Re: Benching JuJu
Might offer Cooks + 2nd for him, which in my opinion is a steal but the owner is pretty down and is thinking about it

Re: Benching JuJu
I guess the question is who are you benching him for?
Week 4 I sent Diggs to the bench, so I could send JuJu to the bench and start Diggs instead. But I am worried the Viking will get ahead early vs the Giants while Pitt / BAL game should be close and therefore Pitt will keep passing, so I think I will ride JuJu.
Week 4 I actually started JuJu, Watkins, Lockett, and Cooper with Diggs outscoring all of them on my bench.

Re: Benching JuJu
If you have enough depth and you can start Robert Woods (assuming that's who OP would bench him for), then sure. But if your bench consists of a bunch of scrubs, I'd still start Juju for his upside. I'm hoping things change and they take off the training wheels on Rudolph at some point, which I think they'll have to if they want to compete against better teams than Cinci...which is essentially the rest of the league.

Re: Benching JuJu
The production will come. If I have better options, then I'll roll with them until that time comes. If not, I'm continuing to roll him out.
Re: Benching JuJu
All start decisions are function of individual team quality. Better have better options at this point to consider benching him. That vast majority of fantasy owners won't have that depth so not much of a discussion in reality.
Trading him is probably a more realistic discussion.
