There's real football on this weekend (AAF)!

Just heard about the Alliance of American Football. New league being promoted by CBS and NFL Network.

I really like how they are doing 2 game on both Saturdays and Sundays. This coming Saturday at 2 pm is Salt Lake @ Birmingham on TNT. Plus a bunch of other games on NFL Network.

As a bonus, the championship game is going to be on Saturday morning just before Rounds 4-7 of the NFL Draft, which will make for a great day of football fandum.

Are there any fantasy platforms that support this league.

I'm in a 4-team league on AltFantasySports.com, and I like it so far. I don't think the guy that started it expected nearly as much traffic as it got, so it is still catching up on scoring from the week, but he's already posted a few times about how he is working on features and upgrading the servers so I think it'll iron out pretty soon.

Sidenote: The 4-team league is probably about the right size (4 teams is 50% of the teams in the AAF, while 12 teams is 37.5% of the teams in the NFL)

My gripe with the league is the lack of game info (hard to find box scores) and the fact that they totally botched their online rollout, despite bragging that they'd have a platform for fantasy.

I've been using NoExtraPoints.com for box scores, and it looks like they've got better rosters than the actual AAF site does. And it maybe even looks like they're adding stat projections?

The AAF website and app were severely lacking, I agree.

Still I think this product was better than could have been expected.

Same here. I'm looking forward to next weekend with another national broadcast on a regular cable channel. I wish they had a lot more of those.

Been impressed with this league over the 1st two weeks. The product has been quite good with a couple of good games on Sunday. The pace of play has been very good. The NFL could learn a thing or two on that. Hoping this league continues. Pleasantly surprised so far.
