Andrew Luck 2019 value

Postby Pullo Vision » Sun Feb 03, 2019 10:08 am

Coming off an injury that had people doubting his career future prospects, Andrew Luck set career highs in TDs and completion percentage while taking the fewest sacks in the entire league.

After his resurgent 2018, where do you put Luck's value? Has he pushed into the top 5 QBs?

Edit, QBs, not RBs, dammit.

Top 5 for me, I had lots of faith him, I’d drafted him in redraft and had lots great second halves, some were comeback and others were garbage time, but he was killing it weekly. That chemistry with Ebron helped a lot. If he stays healthy which is always a big if, he’s a stud.

I don't know man. Only had 148 rushing yards this past season. Need to see more out of him on the ground before he enters my top 5 RB's.

JK. He absolutely is among the top 5 QBs and if you're talking about a superflex and whether his value is near the top 5 RBs, I would say yes. He shouldn't last past the late 1st of a superflex startup and should probably be a top 5 overall pick

Whoops, meant QBs. You think he's top 3 or 5 at the position? After the first couple, they all seem to have similar ceilings and floors.

I'd put Mahomes, Wilson, Mayfield ahead of him. Then I'd struggle to name a QB I'd take over Luck in dynasty.

He's a top 5 QB, but he does need to get his rushing numbers back up to really be an elite option again. That 300-400 yards rushing and 2-3 rush tds is worth the equivalent of about 12 extra passing TDs and was a big part of his value previously.

Hopefully they were just making him be extra cautious with the shoulder and he will start running again next year.

I think if you discounted him out of injury concern that he should be back wherever you last ranked him pre-injury concern - be it top 3, top 5 or top 10.

He's my QB2. Same tier as Wentz, Watson and Baker. Right ahead of Wilson and Arod due to age

He's a top-5-10 superflex dynasty player, right there at the top of tier 2 with Zeke, Nuk, OBJ, Thomas, Gurley, CMC, Wilson, Rodgers, etc.

Mahomes and Barkley are tier one.

this , I laughed when I saw mayfield and COD is a terrific poster but that is pie in the sky at best and comedic genius if I look through my steelers glasses .

Whatever the 2019 NFL MVP ranks that is where you rank him . I think a mahomes type season passing is not far in the offing for mr luck . If deon cain can get back healthy and stretch the field or they add another premium pass catcher the sky is the limit . They just resigned glowinski a very underrated cog of that vastly improved OLINE and generally speaking an Oline gets better as they spend more time as a unit . His outside options after TY Hilton - chet rogers ryan grant and dontrelle inman . Alabama's wr corps is way the hell better than that and they are mostly teenagers .
Adding harry or harmon or best fit aj brown and luck could destroy teams all year next season.

unreal. What exactly has Mayfield proved? How is he even in someones top 3? Are you related?

He did have a great rookie season and to me he played like a vet not a rookie which shows a very high development and accuracy already
