Hilton shouldn't be a sell, but he is probably a buy low. He doesn't have the flashy upside of the other top WRs, his consistency is key and he has just lost that. His value is dipping quickly in redrafts and while dynasty owners shouldn't react short-term, most of them do. I wouldn't expect a huge discount though, I've been unable to buy low on Andrew Luck. And don't forget the Moncrief factor, even if Luck comes back healthy Donte could eat into his targets a bit.

I feel he was overpriced all offseason. If anything, his value is/should be appropriate now.

TY Hilton dynasty trade value

Postby Nick110 » Tue Jan 22, 2019 9:51 am

I was offered a trade of TY Hilton for 2019 1.02, 1.10, 2020 1st and 2nd round picks in a 14 team league. Am I crazy or is this a no brainer yes? I know he closed the year strong but he’s not getting any younger and could use added depth to my otherwise great core.

That’s wayyyyyy too much for him.

I probably wouldn’t trade the 1.2 for him

I'd trade Hilton for that easily. If it was just 1.02 I'd hold on a competing team. That's a lot more than that though. Take it

That's a "yes". Accept it. Even if you're weak at WR already and Hilton is your best player.

T.Y. Hilton Price Check

Postby baldwin415 » Sun Apr 19, 2020 2:24 pm

What are you guys looking to sell Hilton for? Or if you are buying, what would you think is a fair price?

More specifically, I received an offer of Daniel Jones, 2020 3.04 and a 2021 2nd for Hilton. Would you do it? 1/2 PPR, 10 Team, not superflex.
The Dynasty-hee: 10 team, .5 PPR, Keep 15, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 2 Flex
QB - Herbert, Stafford
RB - JT, Ekeler, Montgomery, Peterson, Scott, Hasty
WR - Thielen, Woods, Hill, Cooper, Bateman, M. Jones, Davis, Sanders, Hardman, Callaway, Gallup
TE - Kittle, Thomas, Seals-Jones, Trautman, Conklin
2022: 1st (late), 3rd (early), 3rd (early), 4th (late)

Just looking at your team, it seems likely you've got the youth to step up behind TY.

But you are essentially accepting a bunch of nickels for a quarter. If its me, and especially in a 10 team non-superflex (and only keep 15!) the only thing I'm trying to do is roll my trades "upward" to have 15 studs, specifically at WR and RB. That should be your whole goal. Daniel Jones? Worthless in a 10 team non Superflex. 3.04? Doesn't move the needle. 2021 2nd? Doesn't help you any time soon and who knows what depth of draft looks like next year.

None of that really moves the needle for a guy that could score huge this year. The best asset in the deal shouldn't be a random 2nd for TY.

I wouldn't trade Hilton for that. I think his value is probably a late 1st at this point. He turns 31 in November and is coming off a down season. I think Rivers will be good for him though.

If you're looking to move him, you'll get more during the season.
