Who Ya got in the championship games?
I have Pats winning a close one (homer) 28-26. Gonna be very cold, I expect the high flying chiefs offense to be bogged down a little bit and not be their normal selves. Brady to do just enough to win, rely on the running game, and even a Gronk sighting.
Saints winning a blowout 45-30. I don't trust the Rams at all here.
I know none of these games matter for fantasy but its still fun to see our guys come through in big spots, especially if these guys may be fighting to start next season. GO PATS!!!!
Championship Games
Re: Championship Games
There are 2 things I care about now that my Cowboys are eliminated.
1, the Pats dont get to another SB.
2, none of my players who are still playing suffer a severe injury that could impact 2019.

Re: Championship Games
1. You are gonna be SOL on this one
2. Yes this is always a concern, especially annoying when your real team is out of it and this happens.
I also don't understand the hate from a Cowboys fan of the Pats. Pats are hated just as much or more than the Cowboys and ive always felt Cowboy fans and Pats fans should stick together for that reason. We could make an unbearable army of hatred, itd be fantastic. I have a soft spot for the Cowboys for some reason, just because I love seeing people whine about them winning.
Re: Championship Games
I hate both the Pats & Chiefs but I am predicting a Pats win.
I both want and think the Saints will win.
I am rooting for Brees to get his 2nd ring, would be fitting with the records he broke.

Re: Championship Games
I want Brees vs Mahomes
Would be fine with with Brees vs Brady as long as Brees wins haha

Re: Championship Games
I would love to see a Chiefs/Rams SB.
We’ve seen enough of the Pats in the big game...but they probably will be there.

Re: Championship Games
Interestingly enough the Patriots have never been to 3 consecutive Super Bowls.

Its not hate lol. I dont hate the Pats just tired of their success. Its been longer than any dynasty I've ever known.Weknownothing86 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 2:54 pm1. You are gonna be SOL on this one

Re: Championship Games
Another ~105 combined points scored with back and forth momentum shifts and the game decided quite late would be fun to see.
Mahomes and Goff will probably have this hype around them and then give us a 23-13 Super Bowl with one team scoring 23 before the other gets on the board, then super boring run the clock drives from one squad while the trailing team continues to baffle the audience with ALSO trying to control the ground and run the clock. That just sounds like a classical NFL game...
Funny that the classical NFL game can be the polar opposite of a classic game.

If I ever have a tough lineup decision to make I usually go against whatever is hyped. Because that’s what usually does not happen
At this point in the season the unknown is what makes it interesting.

Re: Championship Games
The better teams, with the better QBs, at home, will win.
Chiefs-Saints should be a good SB.

Re: Championship Games
Chiefs/Saints SB would be good too
Re: Championship Games
I guess if we get Patriots/Saints it could be the battle of who wants to retire last & the game could be sponsored by AARP ...

Apparently Rams fans are petitioning to get the referee from their game changed.
