Very interesting takes. I think I'm a little higher on Montgomery. But curious about the Holyfield ranking. What makes you put him at 1?

Love seeing my boy Rodney ranked high. To me he's one of the best RB in the drsft with his big question mark being health.

My top 5 as of now with limited viewings.

1. Josh Jacobs
2. Holyfield
3. Anderson
4. Montgomery
5. Sanders

He just seems to have that gear that only the studs have. His film watches like a true premium prospect. He's got shiftiness, power, size, and hard-cutting ability.

And here i thought I'd be one of the few that had Holyfield as my rb1.... 🍻 Lukky

Although it could be Jacobs. I keep flip flopping.

Booo! Don't give out this info early. Let the public eat up the Montgomery hype...

I agree though. Dude is a BALLER. He sinks his hips low when changing direction, quick decision-making skills, quick bursts, great vision, great speed and power.... he's definitely in the top tier of RBs and quite possibly the #1 overall RB.

Holyfield needs to bulk up his lower half. Very skinny legs. I think he looks good, though. As suspected, some RB's coming to the forefront now making this class a lot better looking than all the nay sayers had said. Jacob, Holyfield, Sanders all declaring makes your 2019 pick look a lot better.

Holyfield looks good, but i still have questions about his measurements and his power. I think he can be a good fantasy option if hes in the right offense and used as a Kamara type (I don't think hes as good of a pass catcher), but i don’t think he’s a every down back. There are quite a few players like Holyfield that don’t necessarily have the same skillset, but have the qualities to be really productive as committee backs due to their pass catching/big play ability and aren’t 3-down studs.

The prospects that I believe have the potential to be 3 down backs before testing are:

David Montgomery
Damien Harris
Rodney Anderson

As for Josh Jacobs I’m not a huge fan, but i see the allure in his contact balance and pass catching ability.
I may or may not be related to Bryan Edwards

Thanks all for these analysis. Have the 3rd pick in a draft and have a RB need, was thinking that trying to trade the pick for 2020 1st is the way to go, but now rethinking that there will be good options this year.

Man, after seeing these lists, and all the WRs that will likely go early, it just makes me think that scooping up some cheap 2nds, or trading back might be the way to go in this draft...or simply trading out completely if you get appropriate value.

PSA: Don't let the fever infect you early, and don't spend a ton for a top pick. There simply isn't an A+ type of RB (Zeke, Barkely, Gurley, Gordon) prospect here - but there are quite a few B, B-, C+ types.

Let's put it this way. If these guys were in last yrs draft, I prob would of taken all the top 8 RBs ahead of anyone from 2019 (Barkley, Guice, Michel, Chubb, Kerryon, Rojo, Freeman, Penny). But I would of taken about 10-12 RBs from this class ahead of the Ballage/Hines types from 2018.

With the luxury of hindsight we can take out: Rojo, Freeman...and maybe Penny, but I'd still easily take those 5 RBs from 2018 (Barkely, Guice, Chubb, Michel, and Kerryon) above every RB from 2019.

Not trying to rain on the parade, just attempting to add some perspective to this RB class.
