You're gonna miss reading all about how Marcel Ateman and Auden Tate are future superstars.

I just handed over the reins to my only remaining dynasty team yesterday and am retiring from the game. This past season was my 30th so the timing felt right. It also came during the most promising year in Cleveland since the late 80s. It's time to go back and just be a fan again.

Thank you to this community for being a great resource for so many and for not being like many others on the internet.
You will be missed skip but congratulations(/condolences?) on being free.
I always appreciated your take on things whether I agreed or not. You made good points and were almost always 100% on topic and not creating drama. Valuable member of the DLF community.

Best of luck man!

...and congrats on your Browns!

Bummer, man. It's not gonna be the same without you around. You've always been one of my favorite posters on these forums. Hope you enjoy the freedom of just being a fan! We'll miss ya, bud.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. I admit it's a tough decision and still find myself on the forum (it's set as my home page on a couple devices) and reading thru some posts. I have no plans to reply to them. The repetitive and cyclical nature is serving to justify my decision.

Congrats on making it 30 years. I am in my 30 something year myself and plan on playing a few more years but have scaled way back. As a Browns fan it's a good time to go back to being a fan for you. They are finally on the rise and will be fun to watch.

Don't be a stranger and all the best! I have always enjoyed your wisdom and the unique perspectives you have brought to this crazy game!

I think it would be nice (if impossible) if we kept this thread alive out of respect / memory of skip, for say either 30 years, or for his length of membership with DLF. Or maybe someone will dedicate a new startup - dynasty or redraft.

If it was a re-draft league - they could call it Skip The Dynasty.

I'm all in support of dethroning the Josh Gordon thread for a more noble cause.
