Draft QB or trust Mariota/Trubisky? *Trade made*

I'm in a 10 team league half ppr. Current QBs rosters are Mariota and Trubisky. I'm not 100% comfortable with my two QBs which has prompted me to contemplate drafting Kyler Murray or Haskins. Should I be looking at these guys or just play the streaming game if things go south with Mariota/Trubisky?

Given the recent knews of Murray declaring for the draft, what do we predict his ADP to be?

Traded 1.09 + Gallup for Baker Mayfield and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Hoping I can eventually flip one of the four QBs. Only time will tell. Thanks again for all your feedback!

I would definitely be looking for a QB in your shoes, I'm out on Mariota and still very skeptical on Trubisky. In a 10 team 1 QB leage the EARLIEST I'm taking a QB though is late 2nd.

This. I think reaching for one of those guys will prove to be more of the same for your roster, at least early on. Trading for someone is probably a better idea. I'm not too sure about the prospects themselves though

Is your draft today or in May?

Draft is early May. I have two 1st's a late 2nd and no 3rd or 4th. If I want the top QB of the draft I'll probably have to reach for him, even though I have the most QB needy roster.

I recently inquired about Mayfield or Jimmy G. And they want Robert Woods+ or a 1st rd pick. I have not countered yet

Way too much in a 1QB

Agreed. I doubt we'll be able to work that one out

Baker = "or" a late 1st? If it only costs a late 1st for Baker, I wouldn't be opposed to that.

But I would hold tight for now. You're more likely to get a good deal on trading a draft pick for a QB while your rookie draft is happening. Someone will want to trade in for a player while you're on the clock. That's when you strike.

I'd rather have Trubisky over Jimmy G anyway.

Don't waste a first on this year's QB class either.

I'd easily give a late first for Mayfield. He should be viable for 10+ years, and you won't have to worry.

1) I don't think it's an overpay.
2) Even if it is a slight overpay, it is still worth eliminating the headache for years to come. (Think about how much time, waiver adds, draft picks, and trade deals you'll have to make to find your QB. Heck, in the end, you might spend far more in parts than a single 1st-round pick and never get a guy likely as good as Mayfield!)

I'd have no issue with trading a late 1 for Baker in a 1QB league if I had a good young team that was just missing a QB.

Looking at things from the other side... Would you trade Mayfield away for the 1.08?

Maybe if he was my backup to Luck Wentz or Mahomes. Easily think he's worth the late 1st for a buyer. Sellers should want more
