Things of interest this week for me:

- Can Mahomes keep doing what he's been doing, especially in that weather? 5 minutes in he is looking great!

- Can Big D*** Nick keep it up vs the Saints? I'd be surprised, but he's somehow just keeps getting it done.

- Can Rivers and the Chargers finally make a playoff push and get passed old man Brady and barely still able to walk old man Gronk? I think/hope yes, but I've counted Brady out before.

None of the games this weekend are must-see for me though, likely to be background stuff while I focus elsewhere.

Really? Interesting. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year, and I actually think there are some pretty interesting matchups this time around.

It usually is for me too but the matchups just don't do anything for me.

The Chiefs are dominating the Colts as expected, the Saints will likely smash the Eagles, the Pats will find a way to get to the AFC 'ship again.

The only matchup I find remotely intriguing is the Cowboys/Rams and that is mainly because I think the Cowboys D matches up well with the Rams.

So 6 plays into the game Gurley has equaled Carson’s full game performance against the Cowboys.

Penny, Mike Davis, Gurley, annnnd now CJA have all looked drastically better than Carson against the Cowboys. Time to rethink the “Cowboys run d is elite tho!” narrative in defending Carson.
