2018/19 Wild Card (week 18)

Postby Pullo Vision » Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:48 am

Corey Davis showed you can get a value jump in the playoffs. There are playoff specific leagues and even leagues that extend the fantasy regular season into the playoffs.

People talk about this being a passing/offense league but we've got some strong defenses playing this weekend, like Baltimore and Chicago. KC will be testing the "defense wins championships" mantra.

Also curious if Hunter Henry makes an appearance in the playoffs. Foles can really see his value rise with another run, especially since he gets Chicago.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K
1 DT, 2 DE, 2 LB, 1 CB, 1 S, 1 flex

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

What I want:

Colts over Texans
Chargers over Ravens
Seahawks over Cowboys
Eagles over Bears
Texans over Colts Agree but it will be close and fun, I also think high scoring.
Ravens over Chargers Disagree I think Rivers has a lot to work with and that defense is very good and should stop Lamar
Cowboys over Seahawks Strong disagree, Russell Wilson has a great game and seattle stops Zeke enough to make Dak throw.
Bears over Eagles Strongly Agree, If foles gets by this defense than idk what to say.

What I want:

Colts over Texans Agree, Colts would be more fun and could give KC a run for their money in a high scoring game.
Chargers over Ravens Agree, As a pats fan I hate and am scared of the Ravens in the playoffs, always play us so well. I am rooting for rivers as well.
Seahawks over Cowboys Nah, Keep the Boys in it, NFL is more fun when they are good, whether you love them or hate them
Eagles over Bears As a Pats fan again F the Eagles.

Sounds like you have a tough time getting what you want in life, bud. :D

I'm taking Colts, Ravens, Seahawks, Bears.

I would LOVE the Eagles to win though, just to keep this B.D. Nick thing going. Chaos in Philadelphia! Means I can keep trolling my Eagles buddy about Wentz and how they're "finally playing their best QB" (he hates it).

I'll also fully cop to being blinded by my intense fanboi stanning for Lamar. Chargers really *should* win this game, they have no excuse not to know what's coming.

A terrible no call PI when the corner was clearly holding Hopkins left arm. Well the NFL definitely wants Luck to make a playoff run

I know Mack is inconsistent, but I love watching him run. Really hoping my 2 shares don’t dry up this offseason, keep Bell away please.

No point in having JJ Watt and Clowney if they can’t put pressure on the QB. Colts line is improved, but by no means elite

Kind of thought this would be a good game, but so far it’s just embarrassing for the Texans
