League Roster Expansion Possible

My 10 team league has been in place for 5 years now. We as a league have waffled every year on some type of roster expansion but ultimately each vote has barely failed. This year the vote is going to happen again with what I believe is finally the votes to get a small expansion. approved.

Our league is 20 active roster and 4 taxi spots for rookies stashed up to 2 seasons and then they need to be activated (or dropped). Each rookie draft is 5 rounds.

So the question is what type of expansion should be proposed? I’m thinking +2 active and +2 taxi.

10 team 24 rosters are decent but still pretty shallow for dynasty. It's a good start and I think the best way to go is to add 2 spots this year and plan to add 2 more next year.

I've never played with Taxi... 6 sounds like a lot though. I'd rather just have the open roster spots. What's the point of a taxi anyway?

Taxi with limited spots seems pointless. Just add those spots to the rosters and let owners do what they want with their bench

My two leagues with taxis, the taxi slots are unlimitted but can only be used for players you personally drafted their rookie and sophomore years

I like this as it gives more value to late round dart throws. If you make trades and end up with 7 4th and 5th round picks, you get to hold them to see if they flash or hit without taking up roster space (or filling your taxi squad when you'd prefer 2nd round guys there)

Yeah, I commission two leagues that use taxi spots (4 spots each) and they are worthless. I am likely going to convert them into regular roster spots as I fail to see any benefit from the Taxi slots. I would just add regular roster spots and avoid taxi all together.

4-5 more active roster spots. I don't see the point of using a taxi squad in the majority of the leagues that employ then

Our taxi squad players are available to be bid on by anyone in the league. So, added element of potentially having to spend more on guys than needed.
