Good lord... why was the Chubb side GIVING picks!? That dude is going to run in sooooooo many Baker Mayfield red zone voyages...

Meanwhile, in Washington...
I agree with this. It's all about the operating QB...and these two couldn't be farther apart in who's operating the offense.

I figured that I might have lost some value but I felt it necessary to make sure and get J.Samuels in the deal. I view Cook and Conner pretty similarly value-wise and I actually like Lockett, more than most, but had to do it, in order to lock up the Steelers backfield.
Hmm, not a fan of that one for you. I'd rather have Cook alone than the Steelers backfield. I think there's a better than 25% chance those 2 backs are splitting more than you'd like.
I agree they could be splitting the backfield there...but I'm not entirely sold that Cook is just going to be THE man in MN. I think they draft someone pretty decent to split with him.

It was a small gamble, imo, but one I’m willing to make. I’m not a fan of the Vikings offensive line and even though I like Cook’s “talent”, sometimes it takes more than that, staying healthy, surrounding parts(o-line), etc. I like the Steelers o-line and overall offense more than the Vikings, even without AB.

For a contender I like the Odell side, albeit a little steep to get him.

For a rebuilder, that's a very good haul for Odell in my opinion.

For a rebuilding orphan not signature team ...

I am strong at TE because I have Kittle, and really weak at WR with starters as Fitzgerald, Godwin, and Moore, so I

Gave Ebron
Got Gallup

I think if all things were equal I might have given up a little too much and maybe should have tried to get back a 2nd round pick as well, but under the circumstances it was ok. At least that’s my hope.

16 team superflex/.5ppr/balanced IDP scoring

I sent TY Hilton/Kenyan Drake/2019 1.15/2020 1st (likely back half 1st)

I received Trubisky/MVS/Smoky Brown

I was the 7th seed who went on a championship run (although came up short in the big game). Before the trade, I didn’t have a 2nd starting QB. Last year I streamed Bortles/Mullens at superflex spot...while the rest of my offense pulled more than their weight.

My biggest loss was Hilton as he was my #2 WR behind Mike Thomas. Drake was solid flex/depth. And it would have been a crapshoot to depend on a couple of late 1sts cracking my starting lineup.

All in all, I get a solid young starting QB to flex, and a couple of flex depth guys that hopefully offset the loss of Hilton and Drake.

Starting lineup as of now:
QB - Wentz
RB - Mixon
RB - Chubb
WR - Mike Thomas
WR - MVS
WR - John Brown
TE - McDonald
OP - Mitch
Flex - Marqise Lee or Adam Hump

Definitely stings losing TY and Drake but I needed a 2nd QB and I think I got it without sacrificing one of my cornerstone pieces (Wentz/Mixon/Chubb/MT).

Gave up Ajayi, got back Gio Bernard

In a vacuum, I'd still rather take the upside gamble on Ajayi finding a good landing spot, but this gives me one of the few "elite" handcuffs in the NFL, as Mixon's backup. Safe play.
