No idea what this means for them, but the Dolphins are now the only open job.
My wife is a Bengals fan and she asked me if this was a good hire. I honestly have no clue what to expect of the Bengals.
Given the perception that Lewis should have been fired years ago, I think Taylor will be given years of rope to learn and develop. What the rest of the staff looks like will be important. The Rams brought in Wade Phillips to control the defense for McVay. Maybe Gregg Williams could perform a similar role in Cincinnati.
I think Williams would be a fabulous choice, though I'm sure much will be made about pairing him up with Burfict.

Browns hire Todd Monken as OC (Air Raid). That's a lethal combo with Kitchens and Monken. Baker could be in for a big year.

The million dollar question is the Gase hiring good or bad for Darnold?

Bevell takes the OC gig with the Lions.

Love this for Kerryon, hate it for Golladay/Stafford

I actually don't like this for KJ. Why do you?

Guess that depends on whether you believe Gases reputation was made by Peyton Manning, or if Peyton Mannings resurgence was helped by Gase. If Tannehill had remained healthy - his development may have taken more than a few baby steps forward (at least in some peoples eyes).

I think they should've hired McCarthy or Monken. Gase hasn't had great results outside of Peyton Manning.

I agree with this. I don't really have an opinion other than it's nice to see Mike Brown make a move in line with the current NFL by taking on a perceived young offensive mind. That said, Taylor's offense at UC didn't inspire much confidence, granted they didn't have much in the talent department.
