Potential League Shakeup - Empire/Dynasty Reached

Curious to hear any people out there that have reshaped their leagues after being a few years in?

Fortunately, a lot has gone right for me in my Superflex league, but we have a clause in our bylaws about if an owner wins 2x in a row we may explore what to do with the league in reshaping/restructuring or keep it the same with a vote.

If it turns out that change is wanted, any recommendations on how to go about it?

- Start a full redraft?
- Allow 1 keeper?
- Allow like 4/5 keepers (QB, RB, WR, Flex, etc)

Clearly, I'd love to hang onto my team for as long as possible (in sig) but I'm not sure what the right answer is.

ya realize this is a DYNASTY website right?

like who plays a few years and then votes to go redraft? then again if people can't handle someone has actually built a good team and everyone else needs some years to compete or so, then yeah perhaps redraft is what these people need.

if the same group is together for many years but the league is getting stale i suggest starting from scratch. the best teams will rise to the top again im sure but it at least makes everyone stay interested. idk drafting is a lot of fun, so is winning but not at the expense of high league turnover due to lack of competition. 2 years is whack tho man, make the rule 4 straight. thats when people can say "enough is enough you are better than me"

So far the majority consensus is to keep going with what we have but I can see at some point soon we'll have people either leave or fail to put in a good effort.

I thought the purpose of an empire league was to end it? So why not just start over with the same group? Or scratch the empire clause.

I have an empire league which accumulates a 'side pot'. Once someone wins twice in a row, they get a handsome payout and the league redrafts. It's only a new league which started this season, but nobody in any of my other dynasties have managed to go back-to-back. I'd assume it's quite a rare occurrence with the amount of luck needed in winning a league.

I vote re-draft. Maybe next time have this side pot so the winner gets rewarded for what they have built.

Sounds like it's supposed to be an empire league but the league didn't quite go all the way, so now they're in a gray area.

I'd definitely make the league clean up the rules to establish that the league redrafts after a back to back win, or don't call it an empire, it's a regular dynasty. This kind of haziness would frustrate me.

I guess it depends on the owners. In league one in my sig one team has won it three years in a row and is the highest scoring team this year. I have no intentions of going anywhere and have made it my goal to be the guy who breaks his streak. I like the challenge.
