Part of it is they have one of the toughest schedules in the league, but they are notably more predictable. A larger part of it is Cousins staring down his targets. Thielen and Diggs bail him out often. He can throw very accurately but he doesn’t seem to read the field well and definitely telegraphs his throws. Keenum was inaccurate but had pocket mobility and didn’t stare down anyone. Too bad we couldn’t just merge the two and then split them again with the good attributes going one way and the bad going the other.hockeyBjj wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 11:43 amVikings: 13-3 record and NFC champion gameValhalla wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 11:29 amAdd Vikings to the list of contenders to what the helldynastyninja wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 7:40 am
It's very true. So much changes each year. Atlanta messed up their chances to win during their excellent year. Philly capitalized. Neither team looked the same the following season.
Retain most of the whole team, add a starting quarterback and starting running back, and the whole team (including the defense) goes to the dump. I don't get it

Re: Week 14
I thought the crazy thing with Keenum last year, and the Vikes, were the astounding number of key third downs they converted. Big situation third downs too. Case nearly every time found a way to escape a sack or extend a play and throw a semi-ugly ball to a wife open Theilen or whomever that had managed to break free to open space. Over and over they did it, and of course the defense was really good too, nearly unstoppable at home. Case has not done that really in Denver and Kirk is who we thought he was, to an extent. Football changes so quickly that I kept saying the perfect scenario of last year (Rodgers hurt, Wentz hurt, Super Bowl at home, crazy divisional win) would never come around like that again. Then the Iggles caught fire for 2 games.

Don't remind me. I had Fournette, he had Henry, I figured I'd be leading going into the weekend.

Re: Week 14
I think I have to go with Callaway. Im going against a juggernaut and need a big play. This is my first playoff match in dynasty ever. Figures.

For a forum regular and reasoned contributor, that shocks me.Bot101 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:47 pmI think I have to go with Callaway. Im going against a juggernaut and need a big play. This is my first playoff match in dynasty ever. Figures.
Re: Week 14
Ive only been involved in dynasty 4 years I think? And I've only ever been in 1 league at any given time.

Re: Week 14
From your sig I'd start-
Cam (though this was tough)
Thomas, Hill, Godwin
Barkley, Mixon, Ekeler
Burton
-------------
What other players are mysterious inactive threats the rest of this year? I have Davante and Julio on one team, worried about them. If New York does this to Beckham, seems they could to Barkley as well. Maybe they'll want to break any rookie wall risk, get him used to a 16 game season.

Re: Week 14
OBJ is starting to frustrate me. 3 out of the last 4 years he's going to miss playoff games. Already out for Week 14, I doubt he plays next week either, last year he was on IR and the year before he was suspended for Week 16. Hard to depend on a guy that can get you to the playoffs but then won't help you win once you get there.
Re: Week 14
Well I have a bye this week at least. I feel like this came out of nowhere, I had him in my DFS lineup too before this. He has gorgeous matchups with TEN and IND upcoming as well so this is a devastating turn of events if this thing lingers.
Re: Week 14
The only reason it will linger is how committed the Giants are to tanking.
