Humpries reminds me of Zylstra in a way.
Truth is found through Evidence.

Science is the poetry of reality.

* Reality (as defined by Webster's dictionary) - A word for things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional ideal of them.

D Jax and Humphries both leave in the off season. Tampa Bay's top 3 WR in 2019, Evans, Godwin and Watson

Hard to argue with the fact Humphries has a godd season but he was helped by the fact there was Evans Jackson and Godwin. How good he will be if he leaves? Not sure about that. That said now Jackson is done Godwin will have finally the opportunity to show what he can do and I believe he will do very great

I mean sure, he could have the season Willie Snead had a couple years ago. Useful, yes. But nothing to get too excited about.
Usually it's the players we're excited about who aren't useful. Useful is all that matters when it comes to setting lineups, not excitement.

I'd say the best likely landing spots for Humphries would be IND, KC, DET, SEA, or re-signing with TB. He would be a PPR WR3 with WR2 upside with all those teams.

Detroit? Yes, that could be gold. He could be 85% of what Golden Tate was in the slot.

Otherwise, I think anyone hoping he’s an annual top-30 WR is headed for massive disappointment.

No New England?

Hogan, Patterson, and Dorsett all UFA, Gordon a RFA after this season. Edelman UFA after 2019 season. Humphries seems exactly like a Patriots signing. He can play the Hogan role in 2019 and then take over for Edelman in 2020 as the full time slot and catch 100 passes a year until Brady retires in 2024.

Hype train: Activated.

It'd be a good spot, but I doubt it happens. They have Edelman under contract through 2019, so I don't know how much priority they would put on signing Humphries. Even if they did, I think other teams would spend more.

I agree with that. Best to check the WW for Berrios, he could be a nice offseason sleeper.

Damn here I was hoping I'd added the receiver version of CMC athletically. Oh well I'll keep this in my backpocket and try to sell him with that ceiling to the rest of the league. Maybe someone will blow an early second.

4 years $36 million. The offense in general is not ideal but he seems to be a good fit for Mariota who likes to throw short-intermediate routes to receivers who can get open.

I’m not a fan of the landing spot. The Titans offense has been under-achieving since Mariota came into this league. I really don’t think he’s a top 16 QB and this sinks any hopes I had for Hump to match his 100 target year. He’ll be lucky if he gets 70 targets in the Titans anemic offense.
