Humphries is also an UFA after this season, so no guarantee he is back in TB next season.

If he visits NE this off season, you might be able to get a top 5 rookie draft pick for him.

Melvin Gordon, Joe Mixon, Aaron Jones, Mark Ingram
DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, Keenan Allen, Marvin Jones
Evan Engram, Trey Burton

It's close between Marvin Jones and Adam Humphries if you want to gamble. DET could choose to cut Jones, and there are scenarios where I could see Humphries valued over Jones in the offseason. In such a shallow keeper format, go for upside outside of established elite players. If you have a feeling about Humphries, I have no issue with keeping him over Jones.

A few weeks ago, i was hoping that Humpries would continue, and Jones would the same so I could sell him, for maybe a late 1st.
I'm having a hard time selling my older players while they have value..

He's much more like a hybrid of Jordy, Edelman, and Amendola. And maybe sprinkle in a touch of Ed McCaffrey & Drew Bennett.

Thielen is 6'2" and has enough speed, size, and play-strength to line up anywhere and make plays deep. Humphries is strictly a slot receiver with little big play ability. They aren't comparable. And no, their career arcs aren't very similar, either. Thielen broke out big in year 3 after being given little playing-time his first two years (coaching error / mis-evaluation), Humphries has averaged 40-50 yards a week with 10-11 ypr since year 2 and has plateaued at that level. OP definitely made the comparison based on race and (lack of) draft pedigree, whether the former is a Freudian slip or not.

Anyway. As a slot-only guy, Humphries is slightly better than JAG. Let's not overstate what he's presently doing: he's averaging 50 yards a week for an offense that has no choice but to throw a lot because 1.) their team's defense is comically bad and forces the Bucs to chase the scoreboard every week 2.) the offensive-line is dead last in the league in ALY and can't run-block at all.

Adam Humphries is a reliable low-depth target with above-average savvy against zone-coverage. And that's about the sum of his plus traits.

3rd straight season with >600 yards. 70% career catch rate. Solid depth player to have. WR10 in PPR since week 7. Imagine if he ends up in Indy or any decent landing spot and can get 100 targets. Would be a quality starter for fantasy teams.

I mean sure, he could have the season Willie Snead had a couple years ago. Useful, yes. But nothing to get too excited about.
