Chris Thompson

Postby #5willalwaysloveyou » Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:49 am

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Chris these days? He’s 28 years old and made of glass, but when he plays he can dominate in ppr. Don’t want to drop him because of the upside but with byes and playoffs coming he’s a tough hold.

I am in the same boat as you. He is taking up space on a couple teams. He still seems to valuable to drop due to his PPR numbers when healthy. There would have to someone really decent on the waiver wire.

I'm still holding him even in non ppr format. He was top 10 or 12 in our league last year on a per game basis. Solid weeks 1 and 2 this year. Like someone said, there is nothing better on the waiver wire...

It should be noted that Thompson's fragility is an issue he's had ever since college. So it's not just recent bad luck. It's who he is.

I don't think he belongs on dynasty league waiver-wires, though. I wonder if he's a smart buy low for Guice's owners.

He's basically Danny Woodhead. He's capable of PPR RB1 value if he's healthy, but he's had so many significant injuries in his career. If you're planning on selling, I think you missed the window last year.

I'm holding Thompson. His value is pretty low as of now so I don't think you could get very much for him, unless someone is trying to buy low. I do believe he will have "some" solid production in the furture. I can only hope he his a big game upon returning and then maybe you can sell high.

I can't believe he's still willing to play football. The guy has literally had a major injury 6 of the last 7 years.
