I've waited 380 long, cold, dark days for this moment..... D'Onta Foreman has been activated.

Re: Foreman Value Now?
it would be interesting to see in the early off-season what Foreman vs. Hunt trades for ...
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
Re: Foreman Value Now?
Meanwhile, Lamar Miller has rehabilitated his value. At this point he seems to be a lock to return as the starter in '19. Looks like he's gonna play out that contract after all. I got that prediction way wrong.
Foreman's scored 54 points for his owner.
Odds are Foreman still won't have caught up to Hunt by 2021. Heck, he may not score 486 fantasy points his entire career.
Hunt's scored 486 points for his owner in my half-ppr since he drafted him.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:54 pm To all those who drafted Foreman instead of Hunt over a year ago...

I drafted both. Really believed in the talent of both. Forgot to check brain and achilles though.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:54 pm To all those who drafted Foreman instead of Hunt over a year ago...

Same situation Vcize. Felt great at the time drafting both of them. Now it's all on Foreman...

Re: Foreman Value Now?
Other than his solid play the last several weeks (like out of nowhere, I had him for his last two Miami years 2014-15 and for his first two Houston years 16-17... those 16-17 seasons were an all-time disappointment for me, I watched plenty of games and he just looked so JAG compared to his Miami days that it was like he ripped my heart out).
.....Where was I? Sorry for the ramble, let me start over.
Other than his solid play the last several weeks, is there anything of substance that would suggest he's "a lock to return as the starter in '19"? Even if it's just coachspeak from BOB? I just find that to be a rather bold statement to make with such confidence, considering not even 2 months ago everyone and their mother was saying he was a lock to NOT return.
The general consensus, Miller owners included, is that (or at least has been for a while) this season is likely the end of the line for Miller as a solid RB2 value. So anybody that still thinks he'll be the clear-cut starter in 2019 for the Texans (or any team) should probably be buying for what should still be a cheap price.

Re: Foreman Value Now?
I don't think you've watched Miller play at all this season if this is your takeaway. The box score may make you think this, but he's looked great in every single game this season. The offensive line has been a major disappointment and keeping Miller from putting up much bigger numbers this season.Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:35 am Other than his solid play the last several weeks (like out of nowhere...)

Re: Foreman Value Now?
who cares about miller lets keep this thread about foreman. I don't think ill be activating him from the taxi squad this year for the playoffs bit im sure hoping he recovers fully and can be a beast in 2019
Re: Foreman Value Now?
That's pretty ignorant. If Lamar continues to play well, Foreman's opportunity is definitely limitedgrandmabetty wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 8:01 am who cares about miller lets keep this thread about foreman.

Re: Foreman Value Now?
Thanks Sherlock. That goes without saying but one can state that fact and leave it there without going into detail examining Millers play and the merits of his game.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 8:24 amThat's pretty ignorant. "Foremans value is related to, but not limited exclusively to, how well Lamar Miller plays". Now that we have that out of the way we can continue on with examining Foreman

I just hope Foreman gets onto the field this year and looks at least kinda OK, then we have hope for next year.
