Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
I stashed Bourne and James in a massive rebuild I am working on. Plenty of roster room and not a ton of talent on my squad.

Agree with all the names I've seen so far. Some other names that aren't as nice:
Jeremy Hill - I think he could take on the Blount role in NE if they bring him back. It would make Michel and White owners mad, but that's what NE does.
John Kelly - you might not need to stash him, but just keep an eye on him. God forbid that Gurley goes down, he may not be next on the depth chart, but I think he could earn the job.
Albert Wilson - yes, he's a gadgety-boom-bust player, but it seems like that's what MIA wants to do with him, and they design plays for him. He's older, with no pedigree, and injured, you can probably get him for a late 3rd in a weak draft class that could end up being your WR2.
Kelvin Benjamin - this one is gross. But he's a FA and can get out of dodge. He's landing spot dependent, but if he finds a team that could use his skill set, he could reemerge as a TD machine (probably better for you non-PPR folks)

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
What is somebody like Spencer Ware worth? Feel like he could be a decent buy now to see where he ends up in FA.

The problem with Ware is that if the owner has Hunt, you would have to pry him out of his lifeless hand because he is very likely thinking he is riding that horse and handcuff to the championship.

Luckily, he doesn’t.doublesticks wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:52 am The problem with Ware is that if the owner has Hunt, you would have to pry him out of his lifeless hand because he is very likely thinking he is riding that horse and handcuff to the championship.

IF you could only add one, who would it be? Bourne, Justin Watson, Chris Warren, and Richie James are all available, not sure which I'd hold onto through the next year.

I love Watson, but his path to relevancy is the least clear. I'd stash Richie James in anticipation of Jimmy G being back next year. He checks alot of boxes.

I'm grabbing Mullens in my SF leagues. Why not?
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
I didn’t have a shot at Watson, but I did pass on Bourne and Warren for James. He checked a lot of boxes for me as well.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 4:56 pmI love Watson, but his path to relevancy is the least clear. Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Hmm tell me more about Richie James. What boxes does he check?
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
While he is not ideally sized, I actually tuned into a couple middle Tennessee state games over the years because of him (I kept tabs on him after he hung a 10-95 line on #2 Alabama in week 2 of his freshman year)
I like his burst off the line and his ability with the ball in his hands. He appeared to have strong hands which made him a nice target for that QB. He had high production numbers (107 catches as a freshman and 105 as a sophomore), but obviously didn’t play at a big school which skews the numbers.
In summary, I like him as an athlete who has some nice wr attributes, but he is raw coming from said small school. If he can put a few more things together, that depth chart is wide open in a shanny offense. Definitely worse stashes out there.
Off the list, Warren is the only one who I could see as becoming a thing quicker than James, and that’s if Chucky isn’t just using coach speak about him.

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Id like to bring up Jonnu Smith as a buy or stash. His involvement is increasing every week, the schedule is getting easier and Mariota is finally healthy. Get him now before the price keeps going up.
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
I’m gonna try to snag Demetrius Harris after the season and see where he ends up in free agency. Dude is a size/speed specimen buried behind an elite TE.
