Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
I noticed this week that we had a Zay Jones sighting, the first in a while... checked my waivers, and sure enough, someone had gotten sick of holding him.
Gotta think the Bills turn over the staff again, right? Maybe Josh Allen keeps getting better? Could have another Robert Woods on our hands, though he's still another few years off making his FA escape...
Anyway, was just thinking he is a relatively pedigreed receiver who could be had dirt cheap, or perhaps even free. Thoughts?

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Zay for free is a decent stash. I'd do it depending on who you have already. I passed on him though when he hit WW because I would've had to drop Trequan Smith
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
What about Gerald Everett? He has been getting more involved lately and Cupp is now out.
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Everett only had two targets last week. I think getting a TD has put him on your radar, but he's still at or below the production of fellow TE Tyler Higbee. Everett is a long shot, as he was a few weeks ago.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Stash him until he eventually hits free agency. It's a known fact that every Bills WR becomes a top 25 option as soon as another team gets ahold of them.Bot101 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 11:47 pmThats a solid question I'd like answered too haha.mild wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 11:34 pm I noticed this week that we had a Zay Jones sighting, the first in a while... checked my waivers, and sure enough, someone had gotten sick of holding him.

Anyone think Jake Butt could be good next year? Multiple knee injuries now i think though....

Yes, which is disappointing, but my plan is to add Harris in a few weeks toward the end of the season, and then sell high for an early/mid 2nd once he leaves KC in FA. People love hyping athletic TEs like Ladarius Green and Clive Walford. Someone in your league will likely pay a 2nd for Harris. Free WW add with a rookie 2nd ROI =

I think Zay is a buy now. Hes practically free, young and athletic. If you've watched him play he looks better every week even if the fantasy points dont reflect that.

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Delanie Walker was dropped after his week 1 injury. I didn't want to take the chance of him being stashed by another team so I grabbed him last week. Hearing that he has a chance to play if the Titans make the postseason. So he should be a sure thing to start week 1 next year.

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Don't mind the Delanie Walker grab if you have some young TEs you're waiting on. That said, I don't know if he'll be as productive as in yrs past with Jonnu Smith now on the rise, but he's a worth while stash if you have the bench space and he's free.
I like the idea of stashing any Jacksonville WR named Chark, Westbrook, Cole. Gotta think Bortles will be gone and a new QB will at the helm for the jags next season. Hell even Flacco, Tyrod, or Bridgewater would be an upgrade over Bortles.

Trey Quinn? Mr Irrelevant has done alright 2 weeks in a row and had some hype this pre season. Does his role grow going forward and become a decent WR3/4?

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
Absolutely worth a stash. Harris before him had no offseason/preseason performances to back up his value, but Quinn was doing consistently well an injury forced him to IR before the season started. The Grudge wrote: ↑Fri Nov 23, 2018 1:25 pm Trey Quinn? Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!
I grabbed Quinn this week off of waivers for free. Coming off of IR and instantly producing seems promising. 9 for 10 and a TD is a good way to make your presence known in 2 games.
