with the big bye in week 9 comming....id be shopping packages of 2 vets for the young prospect you like. keep bell.....you dont seem far off imo. use those 1st's and other picks to test the waters in the offseason when you know exactly what you have. even if late....they will still get you solid value early in the offseason before there are names with the number.

guys i like if shopping some later picks now, enunwa and anderson, treadwell, jalen richardson, chase edmonds, ian thomas

Looks like you have enough ammo to make this blow up a good time!

Unless I received an offer that was too good to refuse, I would keep:

QB: Deshaun Watson
RB: Zeek
WR: 2019 1.01-1.02
WR: Calvin Ridley - Martavis Bryant,
TE: Travis Kelce, Evan Engram (although I would entertain a Kelce trade)

That is a solid core of Watson/Zeek/Kelce + upside of Engram/Ridley + roster value of LeVeon Bell/Fitzgerald/Edelman/Drake/Peterson + 1/1/1/1/2/2/2/2/2/3/3/3/+ over the next two years will quickly fill some holes.

If it were me, I would

1) Lock down another young stud QB. Id love to build around a hypothetical Deshaun Watson+Carson Wentz/Newton/Luck/Mahommes/etc 1-2 punch in a superflex.

2) Since it is a full blow up, construct your roster in a way that has your total roster value peaking in 2+ years.

3) Sell some 2019 picks--when the time is right--for 2020 picks. If a 3rd for 2nd etc isn't available, I'd still do late 2019 3rd for potentially early-mid 2020 3rd type deals (or early 2019 2nd, for likely late 2020 1st, etc). When blowing a roster up and building through rookie drafts, I think it is important to select the right rookie classes to invest in. Numerous dart throws at the 2014/2017 classes would have left you much better off than 2016 (example: Braxton, Caroo, Malcom Mitchell, Devontae Booker, DeAndre Washington etc were going late 1st-2nd in many leagues).

I think we will be making 3rd round decisions in the 2nd round again next year much like 2015, whereas 2017/2018 had 1st round caliber talent falling into the 2nd and players worthy of 2nd round values falling into the 3rd (or worth a 3rd falling into the 4th, etc).

4) Obvious, but the chances of Drake, Peterson, Fitzgerald, and Edelman being of any value in 2-3 years when you're locked and loaded are slim, so they would all be gone before the upcoming trade deadline

5) I prefer to build around elite talents I feel believe will hold value for the long-term, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing if I could flip one or both of Elliot/Bell for young potential studs in the next tier + if I could get secondary assets I really liked.

Ultimately, roster targets that came to mind for me ended up looking something like:

QB: Carson Wentz
QB: Deshaun Watson
RB: Ezekiel Elliot
RB: 2020 1.01-1.03 (Cam Akers? D'Andre Swift? Jonathan Taylor? etc)
WR: 2019 1.01-1.02 (AJ Brown? Dekaylin Metcalf? N'Keal Harry? etc)
WR: Trade some package of 2019 picks for the best Tier 1-2 WR you can get (Diggs? Cooks? Arob? etc)
WR: Calvin Ridley
TE: Evan Engram + buy low/slow developing option from the 2017 class that you like

Agreed with MVS. I don't see them drafting another WR next year after letting Allison/Cobb Leave

Someone previously mentioned Deon Cain and I couldn't agree more. He was ready to make a ton of noise in that offense and can be had for probably nothing.
10 team, 2 qb, 4WR, 2 RB, FLEX, .5 ppr, 5 pt passing td, 6 pts rush/rec tds (5 qb roster max)

QB - Russell Wilson, David Carr Josh Rosen
WR - Brandin Cooks, Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, Tyler Lockett, Marvin Jones, Calvin Ridley, Marquez Valdes-Scantling Robby Anderson, Josh Reynolds, Jamison Crowder, Mecole Hardman, Deon Cain
RB - David Johnson, James Conner, Duke Johnson, Wayne Gallman, Nyheim Hines, Bryce Love, Justice Hill, Ryquell Armstead,
TE - Gerald Everett
FLEX - Chris Carson

Is there any news regarding Kenneth Dixon return in 2018? Any chance he contributes down the stretch?

What about cheaper buy-low stashes? Most of these guys aren’t gonna he had for less than a 1st. What about guys who could he nabbed for a 2nd or less?
I was just putting together a list this morning, from my watch list. Lotto tickets. Looking at all of them this off season. Most of these guys are available in my 10 team league, but in larger leagues these guys would be harder to get obv.

I have a gut feeling MVS will be a must own player in 2019 and you can get him for a 3rd and an old fogey to a contender.

Not been any news since he went on IR. The Ravens signing Ty Montgomery is probably not a great sign.

Is anybody still holding any hope for Dixon? I've held him since I traded up in the draft to take him in 1st round. I still say he is the most talented RB in Baltimore and has a chance. Considering Baltimore struggles running the ball, I think Dixon could get a chance this year.

Definitely like this list. Here’s a few guys that I have grabbed - mostly either WW freebies or sleeper holdovers from the previous owner.

Nick Mullens - I grabbed after his performance. Young QB who looked solid his first game, and came back down to earth his second. I don’t know how much of a future he has but Jimmy G isn’t guaranteed to be healthy enough to start the season.

Brian Hill - young depth guy now but I like their potential upside when offseason rosters shake out next year with Tevin Coleman.

C.J. Prosise - another guy I like that got buried on the depth chart real quick. So buried that he might not even keep his roster spot in Seattle. However I think he could be a contributor somewhere.

Agholor - traded away Edelman for him. Young and in a solid offense. The Tate trade hurts his value but he will hopefully help me more than Edelman.

Bourne/Richie James - Someone has to catch the ball in SF.

Carroo/Perriman/Khadarel Hodges/Brandon Zylstra/Vyncint Smith - All young dart throws.

Robert Foster - Why not? Although who knows if Buffalo can support a WR.

Brandon Powell - Supposed heir apparent to Golden Tate. I’ll take a stab at that for free.

Josh Reynolds - Buried but I like his skill set. Maybe we get to see a little bit more now that Kupp is hurt.

No sure fire things, but that’s what lotto tickets are all about. Play enough and you may get lucky. But if you don’t play, you won’t. With big roster sizes, it’s fun to take shots on these guys.
