Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
Title. Doubtful that he will return this season given how bad OAK is, and I feel like that was the main reason he came out of retirement. He'll be a FA after this season and 33 years old next year.

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
Depends on WW and if you have an available IR spot. But there's A LOT of guys I'd drop him for at this point
Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
If there is someone you want to target - then yes absolutely I would say so.
I think the probability is extremely high that he retires again.

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
I think he only wanted to play for his hometown of Oakland and that ship has passed, both because their lease is up there and because it's a tanking rebuild situation now. I don't think at his age he'll get any offers from teams that would keep him from retiring again so like others have said, if there's someone you want out there I think he's droppable.

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
Why again did people use a rd 1 on him last year?

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
I never thought he was worth a 1st, but I acquired him for a mid 2nd and was happy with his RB2 production. I posted this thread for more of a general discussion, but drop Lynch to add Moncrief off the WW?

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
I'd personally drop him, but I'm willing to bet someone in your league would give you a super late round pick to stash him.
Always ask on a RB, especially with a name. If you're going to drop him anyway, a 5th rounder is better than nothing.

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
At 1-6 I dropped him. Didn't even bother shopping him as I had been all season more or less with no bites even while he was healthy and doing ok. Preferred to have the roster spot, but our rosters are pretty small. With that situation and them leaving for Vegas next year, I just don't see him coming back though.

Re: Marshawn Lynch Droppable?
I did the same and unfortunately only got three weeks out of him. My need was pretty desperate but trading what should be a high 2nd even in hindsight was worth it to me.WhatWouldDitkaDo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 2:09 pmI never thought he was worth a 1st, but I acquired him for a mid 2nd and was happy with his RB2 production. I think he's done but I thought that last time too and dropped him. I'm hoping next season Chris Warren gets his share. Been holding onto him in one of my IR spots.
