You should, because you probably will only get a few games out of him every year. Still don't know what the knee injury was that cost him the year. ACL? Can't find it.

Too bad Jerry Jeudy isn't in this class. That kid is going to be ridiculous.

Yep. He should be one of the top WR's off the board that year, if not the top.Dynos wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:50 amhe's coming in 2020?Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:31 am Too bad Jerry Jeudy isn't in this class. That kid is going to be ridiculous.
Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I currently have four 2019 1sts (maybe five before season's end) and I'm not sure if reading this thread is helping me or hurting me haha
Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
You should be looking to move some of them once rookie fever hits. Target RB's in particular; you should be able to pick up some good WR prospects in this draft, but RB is going to be a crapshoot. You've largely missed the low window on a lot of the late-breakout / depressed value studs (Guice, Chubb, Sony) but you could probably still pry away / gamble on some older vets and troubled rookies that are struggling (Foreman, Bell, Freeman, Fournette, Cook, Penny, etc)
I'm assuming you're in rebuild given all those picks. See if you can swap a few for 2020 1sts in your trading too... shaping up to be a better draft.

Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
Not so sure. It's pretty far off, and some of the guys who were supposed to be the cream of the crop (Akers) are playing poorly. Also, if you do trade away your 2019 first you should get something on top of a 2020 first.mild wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 1:17 pmYou should be looking to move some of them once rookie fever hits. Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I'm old enough to remember when Juju Smith-Schuster was unanimously considered the WR1 (and in contention for the 1.01) during the offseason between 2015 and 2016. Ahhh... the beauty of projecting the 1.01 2 years ahead of time.
Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I think people in here are overly down on this class. It looks loaded at WR to me. Since when is that a bad thing?
Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
As of today who are the probably going to be hot topic rookie picks:
QB - Herbert (if he declares), Grier...guys like Lock and Haskins will probably be in the discussion but I just don't know if I'm buying this 2019 QB class. Drafting anyone but Herbert in the 1st seems like a reach as of today IMO. I want to see the QB from Buffalo come out for sure.
RB - Harris (ALA), Montgomery (ISU), Anderson (OU), Love (STAN)....not a lot inspiring greatness but there will probably be some diamonds in the rough.
WR - Harry has been my favorite for a while now, Brown/Metcalf, Arcega-Whiteside, Collin Johnson, Harmon, Anthony Johnson, Ridley
There are just a lot of big receivers in this draft, maybe we see a bunch of teams go into the 2nd round and draft WR like we saw with the RB crop this past year.

Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I'm more excited for 2020 given my startling injury concerns at RB. I'll probably end up keeping what shapes up to be the 9th or 10th overall pick in 2019 since no one seems to be interested in this draft atm. I am a bit of a homer because he plays for my fav team, but Justice Hill is going to come out in 2020 most likely and I think with the right team he can be a dynamic RB. Also at WR Jeudy might be better than any coming out this year. It's all projections, no one had Kamara on the radar and now him and around 3 or 4 others would be worthy of the 2019 1.01. That draft was insanely deep and not typical however.

Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I am kind of surprised, then kind of not, that David Sills is not getting much ink, if any. I know he is white and plays for a pass-friendly system at West Va., but he was such a big time recruit as a QB that one would think his extremely successful transition to WR at the collegiate level would bode well for his future professional prospects. As far as 2020 goes, do people not like AJ Dillon from BC? I know it's a Rb rich draft class, but he has been very consistent the last couple of years on a team that is pretty average overall.

Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
Somewhere on here I was hyping Justice as a semi-deep sleeper. He played really well against OU last year and has that "shot out of a cannon" type burst I like to see from backs that are not getting the major hype. I also had Atemann as my super deep sleeper this year, so how has that worked out for me?? Sorry, but Boomer Sooner for me. I still respect the 'Pokes though.badbuddah wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 2:31 pm I'm more excited for 2020 given my startling injury concerns at RB. Re: Who are the studs coming in 2019
I agree. No outright generational studs, but wuite a bit of players that have a chance at good production in the NFL. WRs are solid and while the RB class is a little weak, i think you’ll see some underclassmen declare because of the depth of 2020s RBs and that will add to the allure. TE is quite good this year too. Overall I think top 12 picks will have some nice pieces that id like to add as depth or potential starters with some talent bleeding into the top 5 of the second.
QB is outright terrible tho
I may or may not be related to Bryan Edwards
